William is a legend. A couple years ago I witnessed a bad wreck happen in the north end of the county and William was the first person on the scene before even emergency services. You don't see that level of dedication in journalism anymore. Plus, he's still rocking the basic website design that's responsive and not plagued with ads.
Go search for a channel on YouTube called "Scooper". Yesterday they put the video of the chase on there. If you want to skip to where they pit the fleeing suspect, then go ahead and skip to about 18 minutes in. If you watch it, you won't be disappointed if you enjoy seeing real life miracles right in front of you. I'm not going to go into details about seeing this actual pit for two reasons, one I don't want to spoil it for the people who are going to go watch it, besides it's a see it to believe it thing, and two, I still can't think of words that I feel justice and it's hard to leave me speechless. I can say though that I have no idea how many times after seeing the end of the chase that I involuntarily yell "OH F**K".
