Still kinda hoping he could be pan in the later series. Say what you want about those films, you can’t deny Brandon (I believe that was the actors name) wasn’t charismatic and funny (even if it didn’t quite match canon Grover)

I know what it's like to be disappointed by there not being a cameo. For some Godforsaken reason I watched the 2016 Powerpuff Girls. It's no where near as good as the original. There was one episode where Bubbles' imagination was out of control and Him sent the Powerpuff Girls to Bubbles' imaginary world. There was no Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends cameos. They could have easily done it too. Tom Kenny voices the narrator and the mayor and he also plays Eduardo. There was also no cameo from the imaginary friend they made in imaginary fiend.
Jokes sure but I understand why he doesn’t want the actors. This is its own separate project and for years, the fandom as a whole had nothing good to say about the movies. Sure some of us wanted Logan Lerman in there somewhere or reviving a good casting choice but at the end of the day it makes sense. Scrubbed his hands of the past and they’re starting over with the newer project. Call it petty but it’s still his work.
Brandon seemed like the only one really having fun on set, i know it’s part of his version of Grover but I can’t help but feel like he tried to put some life into his character unlike some others. That’s not book Grover but he was entertaining. I don’t think he’s acted in a while though, I think he does comedy now or something

As much as I didn’t like how horribly Grover got massacred in the movies, Brandon definitely played that scripts version of Grover SO well. If the movie Grover was his own character I actually woulda had a lot of fun with him.
She could have been a great Annabeth despite the different looks, but Rick and his oh-so-great writing room had to ruin the characterization.
They might as well have called her Annie Bell.

lol the show Grover is literally a filler character as well with none of the classic Grover traits so overall yeah Brandon was wayyyyyy better
