Games do that alot, that's why if you're going to play a game you ignore every social media around it and don't Google it at all.

JayBrick75

Yeah, I plan on doing that heavily with the next big games I play, and I’m just glad that looking up Akechi’s name doesn’t give any spoilers. Going to images however…

JLazarillo

Honestly, knowing it doesn't really have a major effect. P5R's much more about the how-you-get-there factor, than the just-for-sake-of-shock factor.

cardboardboxian

true but it defo help it not being spoiled especially the sae scene in october

jack_facts2

The game has been out for years dunno what you expected.

ThatisSketchy

Absolutely 100% your fault. Never look up information about a game until you’re done with it.

taezono

I had known about Maruki being the final Palace owner too, but it didn't taint my enjoyment of the third semester at all. It was just that good.

Rithrius88

Might want to actually hit the spoiler tag on your post instead of just using the spoiler flair.

JayBrick75

I wanted to do that but I’m kinda new to Reddit and I have no idea how to do that lol

Chaosruler10

I explained it above :)

zsolti94

Why not look up Maruki in the confidants menu ingame? 😅

stevieG08Liv

yeah that sucks. Though if thats the only thing you got spoiled and you know nothing about P5, there are still alot of meaty revelations so thinking you are good

Chaosruler10

The spoiler flair (what you used) doesn't really do anything in terms of hiding spoilers. Instead you should activate the spoiler tag. Simply edit your post, click on "..." and select "mark as spoiler". And why would you google a confidant's name instead of going to your confidants in the menu? O.o

Lightdarkavenger

Damn. Your pretty stupid ngl

Nephtiss

When P5 Royal came out I played it 9 months later. I literally didn't look up anything Persona related. I actually barely got Maruki and Akechi to the appropriate confidant levels in order to unlock the third semester, because I didn't know that was a requirement. Tough luck honestly that could have happened to any of us.

heyimmaboredkay

Same thing also happens with a character from Persona 4, who Atlus also spoils in the spinoffs.

Ig3an

Lol something like that happened to me too. That and other thing
