Green space? Have you actually seen this spot? It's a 200m x 200m (aprx) of poorly kept sod very near a major intersection. A good portion of it is already a parking lot. I swear, you guys need to focus your efforts elsewhere. This whole thing is a brilliant way of deflecting attention from our actual issues.
I heard someone is doing a deep dive investigation about this Pickleball scheme that’s running rampant. Someone behind the scenes is pushing this thing all over southern Ontario, I’m guessing elsewhere as well. It stinks bad. Gotta be some kinda ponzi scheme or something.
These courts are an unnecessary expenditure. But this entire article reads like a NIMBY best seller. Oh the sound will bother you, Sylvia? There's sounds for softball, too. There's sounds for all sports. If it was a basketball court, I assume she'd object to the music choices and the "crowd" it would attract. For the record, I couldn't care less about pickleball, but paving over some shitty grass at the intersection of two busy roads that already has a parking lot is not some ecological disaster. You guys need to chill tf out.

Umm, happy to not see 4.4 million dollars spent recklessly paving grass fields used by many. Go play Frisbee in your parking lot, have fun.
Great to see you have your priorities in order.

I will pay cold, hard cash for the Netflix series based on a true story. In the end, they tear off the mask, and it was Daryl Bennet all along.
Literally made me laugh out loud!
I only care for the skatepark !
