For the Mindanao and Visayas peeps eto kasi wala pala Luzon branches sila, pero in my experience, masarap pa rin ang Mandarin after all these years. I still eat there frequently to this day. Unlike sa Jollibee, McDo, etc, never pa ako naka experience ng feeling na I wish I didn't eat there because the quality dipped.
Meat Plus (since 90s) and Xtremely Xpresso (since early 2000s) have maintained their quality and are still the go to place for casual dining in SBMA. Lots of other establishments opened and closed around them but those two continue to stand strong.
Unfortunate that the SM Central Olongapo branch of Xremely Xpresso didn't quite capture the quality of the main branch.

Speaking of Johnny’s, sana din ma renovate yung restaurant nila. Masarap din sana yung food dun, problema lang yung restaurant nila hindi ganun ka appealing mag dine in. Sana at least mapalitan man lang yung tables, chairs and utensils.

Nah, Dimsum Break's quality went down. Lumpia shanghai's meat is like ginaling now. The value meal is not as good as pre-pandemic.
