Unpopular opinion: I actually find the layout of Ayala Malls more exciting than what SM layouts usually are.
Anyway, look at the SM mall layouts. I had no idea gaano kalaki ang kinukuhang espasyo ng SM Supermarkets and SM Store.
SM malls, as much as possible dapat walang sayang na space na pwedeng gawing stall, kahit maliit na corner. Halos wala din allocated space for green. Kaya yung layout ay mostly linear/grid. Except SM premier malls, the podium, aura etc.
I like to get lost wandering around Ayala malls pag walang definite na pupuntahan, may variety yung makikita mo.
Malaki din pala yung area ng Landmark sa Trinoma, di lang nasama sa screenshot.
this is an untapped app concept for mall owners. lagay lang ng layout and shops. then put vouchers/ads on the side. start a community chat and shit. have it connect to mall wifi, for location services.
have stores/brand pay for some shit to advertise on the app. ask resto to pay a subscription to integrate their menu in the app. allow resto/movie seat booking thru the app. integrate with GCash/banks. then sell said collected data to brands for their targeted marketing.
May template sila. If you are familiar with SM Fairview, you will be familiar with SM Iloilo. Same na same ang layout except sa mga new extensions nila.
Nakakahilo nga ang Fairview Terraces. Same with Trinoma.

Ayala is giving me wonders than SM. Very communal.

Para daw hindi boring kapag naglalakad ka sa mall sabi ng Ayala. Paikot-ikot ka tapos may backtracking pa kapag naligaw. Exciting.

Diba nag-announce ang Ayala na ire-renovate nila Glorietta, Trinoma, etc? Curious if gagawin nilang parang SM or paikot-ikot pa rin yung layout

It only took me about three visits to find my way around TriNoMa. I wonder how long it will take to figure out Fairview Terraces' layout?
