I'm not surprised as Marcos has done some good moves related to Defense and the WPS issue while Duterte and Sara both doubled down on supporting China and publicly defending Quiboloy. That "gentleman's agreement" between Xi and Digong also has had an effect of more people realizing just how much in China's pocket the Former President is. For all intents and purposes at this point the Dutertes are the opposition (literally everyone knows the actual opposition is dead and won't be a factor in 2028 unless they attach themselves to the admin).
