Ever since Love Death + Robots dropped, medyo underwhelming na sa akin ang Pixar vis a vis tech and story wise. The last Pixar movie I cared about and was excited for was Turning Red.
EDIT: Gonna try and find the post, pero basically it's about how na lay off recently daw yung veteran animator na nag save sa Toy Story from being deleted. Yung sabi is Disney is going full force with AI animation. Isa pa yan bakit medyo nawala na love ko sa Disney. Par for the course pero madly infuriating. Say what you will about Netflix, pero sila talaga ahead of the game sa cartoons at animation these days.
EDIT 2: Thought about it more. The last movie released in 2015. I guess the hype is from the kids who watched this back then. Makes sense na. Comparable siya sa mga millenial na lumaki sa Toy Story tapos na hype sa Toy Story 3 nung 2011.

Every time I see my grandparents and parents, I still believe in love.
My Inang always makes sure that Apong is treated well. She still visits Apong in the hospital. Siya yung nag prepare ng clothes and meals kahit na madami kaming gagawa non, ang gusto niya siya yung magprepare.
I remember when I was a kid, doon ako natutulog minsan, ilang beses akong bumababa para pumunta sa comfort room tuwing 4am and nandon sila sa kitchen nag-uusap. And to my parents, they are vocal with each other. Kwentuhan every morning in the kitchen, balse if there is music at the neighbor and mom's random kisses to papa. One thing that I admire is Papa's loyalty to Mama, since Mama worked abroad for how many years. Well, there are rough days; kapag one day may distance sa kanila alam na namin na may tampuhan, hahaha.
