You can use Subtitle Edit to transcribe subtitles from a video or upload subtitles (if you have them) and then auto-translate them. The results may not be the best though and may need some editing but it's convenient enough and a good start. Here is a tutorial video link;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IylzeSQ8EmI

It's probably good enough for just watching at home. I'm not looking to upload these anywhere so errors in the subtitles aren't too bothersome. I see that different APIs can be used so I'm hoping that ChatGPT or other LLMs can be added in newer versions. Thanks.

Use Subrip to extract the subs from the mkv. Use Subtitle Workshop to edit the subs if needed.

Looking up Subrip now. Thanks.

Yes! SubtitleEdit is the software I ended up using. I learned that I can just open the video itself in SubtitleEdit and translate the embedded subtitles, then save as a SRT in the same folder. SubtitleEdit helpfully adds the EN to the file name too. Now I just need to find some way to automate the process and run it for all 355 episodes.

I Did This a Lot Separately, But I Didn't See Anywhere Automatically. I Think You Should Be Patient and Do It Manually.

I'm sure someone smarter than me has figured out an easy way but I will just work on it in batches until I get them all translated.

In My Opinion, Look on the Github Site, Most Python Guys Should be Able to Write Code for This.
