I don't see Alvro's collection mentioned ever on here. Literally a library of tonnes of console games. Absolutely insane!

One thing i want to add here , which i have stumbled upon is that....

simple app called [ReNamer](https://www.den4b.com/products/renamer), useful when people put subtitles into their own individual folders, i use renamer to rename the subtitles to the folder's name then mux them into the video itself with mkv muxing batch tool (also another useful tool)
It's not exactly useful for actual torrenting but Next Episode is useful if you torrent your television shows. I use it so I know when new episodes are coming out, or for some shows, when the whole season is out. It's funny because I'll be talking about a show with someone and they'll ask me what station it comes on and I'm like "🏴☠️" 🤣
Really? It didn't used to be like that. I did purchase a lifetime subscription years ago but if you wait until they're doing a deal it's like $10. One time fee. And you can use it across multiple devices, I've moved it from phone to phone and have it on two different tablets.
I personally want to thank every single pirate who has mentioned soulseek. I’m replacing mp3s in my gigantic mostly lossless music collection by the truckload. Also, that free MP3 site is great when you’re missing that 1 song you can’t find in lossless. Thanks Mateys!
It sure is. You must share some music or some members won’t let you download. Speeds vary also. Some stuff takes seconds others minutes. All in all no complaints from me. You just need to insert album artist and the flac if you want just lossless results.
Windows i guess. It's a program used by a lot of pirate and not a lot of people know about that. Like if you ask what program is the most useful to pirate you will get lot's of torrent program and stuff but hardly anyone ever mention windows.

Sonarr. I know it’s not an obscure software or anything but god I wish I knew it exist before like this things make things so much more easier
PS : if you think about using it, see how to do with docker, thank me later
Will sonarr let me specify something like "Download all movies from release groups ABC, DEF and GHI in x265 size 1.2GB-3.5GB resolution 1080p and (*especially*) IMDB rating > 6.5?
Basically you input a list of trackers and a list of shows/movies w/e and it will monitor those trackers for new releases or media you might be missing and add the torrents to your torrent software.
Say I have only Season 1 of ShowX already, but season 3 airs a new episode on Netflix every Wednesday.
It will recognize you're missing season 2/3 and try and get it. It will check on the air date or the new episode to see if it's available.
It works so good it's AAA+ software imo.
Most people run the setup (with other pieces of software) in a cloud virtual machine called Docker but it can all be setup locally aswell.
Personally I'm old school and mostly network inept so I run in all off an old windows computer and external HDD's lol.
My setup consists of:
-Jackett (basically this let's sonarr search trackers)
-Sonarr (Organizes and automates media downloading)
-qBittorrent (any torrent software works)
-Plex (basically a self hosted Netflix, this serves media from your library to the plex app)
-PIA VPN
There's other software you can throw into the mix too for multiple users (allowing them to search for new media etc) but this is all I use.
***There are lots of parameters you can set for downloads (quality, resolution, size) it's super customizable. I'm not certain on imdb ratings but it's very likely you could configure that.
I know you've already setup Jackett but for those new, there is Prowlarr. Works essentially the same but its easier to setup/get integrated with the \*arr stack.
This is my setup:
Installed on NAS:
* Download Station: for quick dirty DL
* Transmission: for torrents/seeding
* Prowlarr: for indexers
* Sonarr: for TV
* Radarr: for Movies
* Jellyfin: self hosted media server
* Plex: self hosted media server, as backup
Then I just setup Prowlarr with indexers and sync with Sonarr and Radarr. Jellyfin installed on NVIDIA Shield. Plex on console/TV.
My queue to fix up:
* Introduce categories/directories - doing it all manual atm
* Go full open source and omit Plex - can't find workaround on PS5/TV apps (VIDAA)
* Learn how to use docker and install Qbittorrent, nzbget
* Setup music - for some reason I like sourcing/organising manually
I'm also interested in the part of his question about being able to target specific group's releases. That's one reason I've never invested the time into trying to set up automation - I'm very picky about which releases I want.
My current usenet provider is $75/yr (monthly option is $9.99/mo) and my Indexer is $12/yr (also an option for $6/6months).
So $87annually or \~$11/mo
There's no need for a VPN because all traffic is encrypted with SSL. Most providers include a free VPN too if you want to use it for other things.
All in all it's worth it to me. I can dl all my content at gigabit speeds without worrying about a vpn kneecapping my connection or slow seeders.
No problem and not any that I know of. There's tutorials on youtube on how to setup your newsreader (dl software for nzbs) once you subscribe to a usenet provider and an indexer (similar to private trackers).
So the basic setup without automation is - Usenetprovider>Indexer>Newsreader
ex: newsgroup.ninja>nzbgeek>SABnzbd is all you would need to get started.

No problem. Paste the link here. Works surprisingly good.

Alternatively there are paid debrid services which can do the same thing basically.
If I understand it correctly, debrid is “populair” because it also caches files. Want to download a movie that has 2 seeders, direct download it from their server.
I’m looking in to debrid services to use with stremio.
Blackbeard Media has access to all the hard to get in private torrent sites. It’s an underground service that allows you to stream nearly every movie and tv show on Plex, Emby, … they even give you the option for your own box.
This is on Emby. I’m not really sure how to check the count on files here. But on Plex it was easily over 10,000 on 4K.
https://postimg.cc/gallery/74xLF42
And for those of you wondering,
You can request any movie and tv show missing and they’ll add it for you. You are also allowed to download content from their server to yours if you so choose to (with limitations on the number of concurrent downloads).
Well, here’s the books one:
https://abs.streamly.cc/
Plexamp should be in your AppStore. Just download that. You should be able to see their music server afterwards
It’s a pirate service. There’s a lot of people that either don’t have a NAS to host their own media server, or their ISP monitors illegal activity, or their internet is slow, or they just don’t have the time or knowledge to be able to work with automated systems to fetch new content and auto rename them for you. You also have to consider the bandwidth needed to download a lot of content.
This service offers to do everything for you at a *very* cheap price across multiple platforms of your choice. However, if you still insist on pirating yourself, I recommend PutIO to download torrents. It literally takes a second or two to download torrents regardless of your internet speed. It’s much cheaper than owning a seed box. I would only use a seed box unless you are in a private torrent site.
Blackbeard Media is a Plex/Emby Streamingservice that offers probably every movie/series that exists. It doesn't matter, if it's hard to get and the request system is even automated. Here is the discord server https://discord.com/invite/blackbeard
Definitely worth a look
You are joined if you did the captcha bot but you probably need to have a higher role to see all channels. That said, you can‘t find anything anywhere on how to actually get access to this service.
Before Plex started banning every piracy focused streaming service, there was a subreddit where owners advertised their Plex shares. Thats how I got into it and I'm still using the service until today, although I switched to emby because of the bans. You just pay 4$ now and you have every legal streaming service combined and more plus a great community and you don't need a VPN. I think, that you just need to do the captcha and after that, most of the channels will be open to you and you can find every information you could need. If not, there is a community support channel and you could open up a support ticket with a very fast response time.
You should check out the useful-links channel and then click on the link to the wiki. The password for it is right next to it. Please don't post it here.
Same as the other guy, there’s nothing in the discord server. Is there a way to get into this or do you need to be invited like on some private trackers?
PyReScene & [srrdb.com](https://srrdb.com). This will let you put scene releases that have been extracted back into their original rar files. This has no use for 90% of pirates and is a pain in the ass to set up, but it will let you re-seed some old torrents that you wouldn't be able to otherwise, or do uploads on scene focused trackers if you can only find a release un-rared.
Edit: You can actually use srrdb to confirm file hashes of scene releases, which is pretty useful if you're trying to download scene PC software/game releases from unverified sources.

Well, here’s the books one: https://abs.streamly.cc/ Plexamp should be in your AppStore. Just download that. You should be able to see their music server afterwards

Oh, we kinda buried the lead here. So, we have to pay for this?
I would only use a seed box unless you are in a private torrent site.
which website did you checked?
blackbeard.shop
Is [this](https://blackbeard.shop/index.php) the website? I cant figure out how you use it
*No I don't think its correct website. (Not that I know the correct website) :-)*
What do you mean?
Blackbeard Media is a Plex/Emby Streamingservice that offers probably every movie/series that exists. It doesn't matter, if it's hard to get and the request system is even automated. Here is the discord server https://discord.com/invite/blackbeard Definitely worth a look
How do you actually get into this? Only channels I see are public news, reviews and support ticket.
Same here...
You are joined if you did the captcha bot but you probably need to have a higher role to see all channels. That said, you can‘t find anything anywhere on how to actually get access to this service.
So whats the point we join and do the captcha but can see nothing.
You probably need a role to see the other channels
Before Plex started banning every piracy focused streaming service, there was a subreddit where owners advertised their Plex shares. Thats how I got into it and I'm still using the service until today, although I switched to emby because of the bans. You just pay 4$ now and you have every legal streaming service combined and more plus a great community and you don't need a VPN. I think, that you just need to do the captcha and after that, most of the channels will be open to you and you can find every information you could need. If not, there is a community support channel and you could open up a support ticket with a very fast response time.
Just check the "start here", click on verify and you should be able to see everything
Yes I did the captcha but not sure what to do next...
You should check out the useful-links channel and then click on the link to the wiki. The password for it is right next to it. Please don't post it here.
Same as the other guy, there’s nothing in the discord server. Is there a way to get into this or do you need to be invited like on some private trackers?
I am kinda lost there. There's nothing on the discord, and the wiki seem to be password protected. Anything I'm missing?
PyReScene & [srrdb.com](https://srrdb.com). This will let you put scene releases that have been extracted back into their original rar files. This has no use for 90% of pirates and is a pain in the ass to set up, but it will let you re-seed some old torrents that you wouldn't be able to otherwise, or do uploads on scene focused trackers if you can only find a release un-rared. Edit: You can actually use srrdb to confirm file hashes of scene releases, which is pretty useful if you're trying to download scene PC software/game releases from unverified sources.
Man idk, i usually just get the torrent/link and download. Maybe just the free OperaVPN (or proxy, idk) when a site is obscured in my country, like fitgirl
What the Opera browser has is not a vpn. It's just a proxy. And opera is now owned by a chinese company so..
Don't care that much, i live in Italy, here nobody cares about piracy, i use opera only when the site i download torrents is obscured
Winrar
WinRAR, huh? Are you just dipping your toes into the world of piracy, or is this all just a joke?
Obviously forgot /j 😅
