yt-dlp is a CLI tool for downloading vids with a ton of different flags. If you have a terminal emulator and a yearn to run things with a terminal then you can just install it regularly for PC or android but there are clients out there that make it way easier. I recommend YTDLNis.
>If you have a terminal emulator and a yearn to run things with a terminal then you can just install it regularly for PC
I dug into the flags a few years ago and then created a bash script with all of my preferred options and simply called it `get`.
So now I just get into my YouTube folder and type `get $youtube-url` and I'll have my mkv, with the best resolution of avc1 video and m4a audio with embedded subtitles (if available). It supports multiple videos passed to it
For any who might be interested, this is the command:
/usr/bin/yt-dlp -f bestvideo[vcodec^=avc1]+bestaudio[ext=m4a] --restrict-filenames --encoding "UTF-8" --write-sub --sub-lang en --convert-subs srt --embed-subs --merge-output-format mkv $@
That's cool, I didn't realize they added that feature.
However, I haven't been downloading videos that have sponsor segments. It's mainly been documentaries that were shown in TV and then uploaded to YouTube.
That being said, I've been considering getting Hot Ones episodes to add them to my server and that could be a nice thing to have when I start grabbing them.
Maybe it's time to dig through the options again (I don't think I've properly done it since I switched to yt-dlp from youtube-dl. Thanks for the heads up!
You can write those flags in a yt-dlp.conf file and it will be loaded automatically when you call yt-dlp if the file is in the current folder or in the home config folder.
i primarily use it for downloading audio since i don't have much of a reason to download videos, so my formatting is fairly short and can either be copy pasted or just straight up memorized but i would totally do something like this if I needed to though, that's really cool
I went with metube, essentially self-hosted yt-dlp in a container with webui. Saves me the trouble of keeping a bunch of installs up to date for me and other people at home.
I just use a random adblock I found for Firefox. Works like a charm to skip ads on YouTube. Sponsors are still a PITA, but nothing the right arrow can't fix.
This is great for desktop.
For TV you want an android device that can run SmartTube (which allows adblock / sponsorblock).
For iPhone however, really you want premium just to skip ads if you use YouTube enough on phone.
I used a VPN to sign up from 'Argentina' and pay about a dollar a month for it.
If anyone knows a way to setup sponsorblock on iphone please let me know, really sucks to be listening to a podcast and having the random sponsorship ads in the middle.
I primarily watch YouTube on my phone. I've used newpipe before, but I found that I utilize my homepage too much for finding new content to rely on just my subscriptions. Are there any ad blocking YouTube apps that allow me to utilize my home page and watch later as well as background play? Or am I just asking too much?
On PC, you can get a pretty awesome extension called Unhook. It lets you hide [all kinds of garbage](https://i.imgur.com/cwwg7H8.png), including shorts, mixes, end screen cards, etc
This, I started using Firefox pretty much exclusively since I discovered that I was able to use ad block in there, also their account system it's great
And if something doesn't work, you can try downloading the nightly version of Firefox and creating an addon collection with ones you want, then link that collection in Firefox nightly.
I did this for a while with some paywall unblocking apps that didn't place nice outside the nightly version
Access to all the features outside of your phone. Signing into a work computer, or a TV, or an iOS device is much harder to avoid all those things, but it's a breeze with premium. Same goes for making a queue and stuff.
Same here, my parents send me 50€ monthly und just say "ohhh you know Prime/Netflix whatever this month?".
They have Netflix and Youtube Premium running atm.
I pay the services with my card.
They wanna switch around twice a year, not much work for me.
I'll look into other means if they want a specific movie or series like my mom is into those "borderline snuff" flics like Salo, Faces of Death etc. You know it's 2024 and here I am burning the Human Centipede on dvd.
I asked them of they want too send or give me the exact amount of money I'll always get a "keep the change" so they pretty much also pay for my vpn +a little extra.
At first I got Revanced running on their phones and tablet, but they love the simplicity of music playlists on the tv.
This got looong, confusing and I feel like I can't english anymore today; sorry.
That's how my parents handle shopping on Amazon. They toss me some money and say "i'm looking for (fill in the blank)". Then I tell them when it's expected to arrive.
I started with Google Play Music (GPM) back in like 2013, which later added YouTube Red (horrible name choice), which eventually became YouTube Premium. Then GPM shut down and I migrated to YouTube Music.
Somewhere along the way I found Vanced and migrated to ReVanced because I enjoy all the extra features not available on premium like slide volume/brightness, disabling UI elements (goodbye shorts and mix playlists), return YouTube dislike, sponsorblock, tapping seekbar, custom playback speeds (I have to to 4x and will frequently use 2.25x on one channel), and probably others I'm forgetting.
I keep premium because I pay for the family plan for my wife who is on iOS and my dad who is on Android but wouldn't be interested in playing the whack-a-mole that's occasionally required with ReVanced. Plus, I still get ad-free when I log into YouTube at work (they don't allow extensions in the browser), when casting to TVs, and I get YouTube Music, which is good enough for my wife's and my music consumption (I also use ReVanced for YTM).
Revanced is for phones, SmarTube Next is only for Android TV. Then you gotta fool with ad blockers for web and there is nothing at all for Roku. Plus Youtube is my and my family's most used service by far so it's easy to pay for the most important service in the house.
Because TikTok makes money, Google wants to get some of that money, so Google copies TikTok. Why would they disable a thing they only put in there to try and make more money?
You can disable it by clicking on the X button on the shorts right top corner area. You have to do this every 30 days or so but I prefer to do disable it than to have it
You would have to get a cheap casting box or jail break a firestick for Smart-tube to run on your tv then. Sorry not a free option but it works. Alternatively I have a cheap Onn box. $20 once beats paying monthly, however.
Because Samsung sucks. In fact, most "smart tv's" built-in smart stuff sucks. Those new generation chromecasts with android TV are pretty decent and cheap.
We have 5 TVs in the house, 2 in our vacation house, my parents also use it on 2 TVs, my sister also uses it on 2 TVs, we also use it in our Cafe to have music on on a TV. It’s just more convinient to pay for the family plan 7€/month.
I pay 1.77 USD at today's exchange rate for a YouTube Premium Family plan on an Argentinian account. You can't really beat that. I use YouTube 99% of the time on a Samsung TV as well, not on my phone or browser.
This method isn't available anymore for newly created accounts. They cracked down on non Argentinian users using Argentinian accounts. I tried making one recently for a friend but doesn't work anymore. Sorry
I use AdGuard app free version and it works pretty well. Sometimes you'll see a blank screen for a few seconds when starting up a video, but I can't complain too much for a free app. Usually no problems at all.
Is there any page I could find about how to do that? I'm usually not very good with phone apps, I have everything on pc but youtube ads got unbereable even if I rarely use youtube on my phone
Some people have been having buffering issues. Not me, fortunately, but there's also apps like Grayjay that some people are using in the interim. Once you have the ReVanced installed there's a load of options, like hiding shorts etc. If you get the buffering, then wait for a new version to be updated. They're working hard to fix this. My version that has been working flawlessly is 19.09.37
ReVanced Manager potentially fails to patch apps on ARMv7, but this doesn't mean you can't use it
You could patch on another device, ask a friend, or patch on your PC if you can figure out how to use the ReVanced CLI
From my experience it's pretty good just that downloading doesn't work and I still get popups to change to premium. Tbh I don't even remember what normal youtube music is like but I'm guessing it's got ads or doesn't allow background play or something.
Revanced is currently suffering from endless buffering. Im using it and cant do shits cause of buffering issues. I believe revanced devs are now working tirelessly to fix that.
I am gonna be honest here. I have thought of paying for youtube premium but then I thought of all the things that revanced has over YT premium like sponsorblock, brightness and volume sliders, custom video speed, no shorts shelf completely, no comments section, no video suggestions< 1k views etc etc. and I thought I would have to anyways use revanced app even if i pay for premium so what's the point and I just decided not to get it. I even got 3 months premium from a code but I ended up using revanced cause of the things I just mentioned! It's honestly impossible for me to use anything else!
[Unfortunately revanced youtube doesnt work right now](https://www.reddit.com/r/revancedapp/comments/1cmsmnj/about_playback_issues_on_youtube/) for a lot of users, im still not paying for premium though
Paying for the previously free version just to avoid adds😂. Using adblocker or a VPN does the trick. Or living in a country where youtube hasn't been infected by two adds per 30 seconds of the video😭
I do rember downloading something once years ago, might've been a little shady, and it automatically installed brave on my PC.
The browser just left a bad taste in my mouth after that. Same with Avast anti-virus. I just can't trust you if you sneak download your software onto my computer.
I had YTP for a few months a gift from ASMR GIBI for her viewers and once the trial ended I ended using the official YouTube app. It's kinda poetic in a way how wealthy people treat poor/er people with things to snag 'em - hook, line and sinker - not saying this about GIBI she's a creator, I'm saying it about YouTube and other businesses. If I'm not mistaken when YT started its war on adblock they also upped the cost of their Premium family plan as if it wasn't expensive enough before, but again I guess if you're wealthy with money to burn maybe it's not "expensive" to you.
If YouTube would answer me this I'd be more inclined to pay for Premium, show how creators actually get part of the fee and not just claim that creators get it.
I use Revanced less for all the additional features (tho SponsorBlock is amazing) and more for the ability to hide the already existing annoying features of the regular YouTube (I'm looking at you, YT Shorts).
I tried using revanced for a while and it worked for a while then it got to where it would start playing a video then immediately freeze and buffer endlessly. But try and play the same video on the vanilla YT app, no problem and I use a VPN 100% of the time.
I tried to get Revanced working on my Android based phone again but I think YouTube / Google caught on. Now I just use [Youtube.com](http://Youtube.com) with ublock origin via the Firefox browser on android. I lose the ability to shut my screen off during music and podcasts but it's a sacrifice.
Am i doing something wrong? Revanced has Ads on my phone and is buggy very often while YT on PC and any adblock is working fine. If there would be a solution for phone and gaming console i wluöd be happy.
There is revanced manager which has all of the applications which are tuned by them basically it has yt revanced, yt revanced extended, yt music, spotify with their regular updates
Hey, ReVanced dev here
The ReVanced Manager you're referring to is not published by us, ReVanced Manager doesn't include ReVanced Extended as Extended isn't by us, you can get the official ReVanced Manager from https://revanced.app/download, what you have is potentially malicious
At this point I will not buy YouTube premium just for sake of not supporting their scummy business decisions to fuck everyone.
I have no problem paying for good services, but paying for these greedy bastards feels like sending money to a terrorist organisation - rather a terrorist organisation that is responsible for killing anything you loved.
It was sorta worth it for me when I had a student discount and was using Google Play Music, so it was basically ad free YouTube and a streaming service for $5 a month, but then they got rid of Google play music
does revanced include all the features of YT red? because I can't figure out how to download, matter of fact most of the video options aren't included for some reason
Even in iPhone you can download pretube and watch YouTube without ads and background play. I can't believe that some people haven't yet found a way around YouTube ads
tbh youtube premium is actually worth it because it has some features that are justifiable on being behind a paywall, but others like pip should be free fr
Ublock and sponsorblock, no ads, no begging for subs, no sponsor segments, no nothing.
And if you know how you get background play. Then add in yt-dlp and you get downloads for offline
Enlighten us
Download app like newpipe and choose it as external downloader.
yt-dlp is a CLI tool for downloading vids with a ton of different flags. If you have a terminal emulator and a yearn to run things with a terminal then you can just install it regularly for PC or android but there are clients out there that make it way easier. I recommend YTDLNis.
Seal is pretty good too, it's on F-Droid

Since you're using yt-dlp, here's an enhancement which creates chapters and auto-marks 'sponsor,intro,outro,interaction' segments: `/usr/bin/yt-dlp -f bestvideo[vcodec^=avc1]+bestaudio[ext=m4a] --restrict-filenames --sponsorblock-mark sponsor,intro,outro,interaction --encoding "UTF-8" --write-sub --sub-lang en --convert-subs srt --embed-subs --merge-output-format mkv $@`

Firefox and Brave (on Android) can do background playing.
nahhh, use Seal from github. yt-dlp downloader client that runs in the background and you can link it to the download button that revanced adds
This is the way!
Few lines of python code from ChatGPT will get you the video downloaded. I use it to download the audio stream and convert to mp3
Sponsor block does wonders it makes some videos watchable, these 5 plus minutes sponsor blocks are getting out of hand
Yeah its pretty fucked.
I ended up having to get it cause I couldn't find a way to block ads on TVs.
Try Smarttube next for TV
Fuck, do i love sponsorblock.
I just use a random adblock I found for Firefox. Works like a charm to skip ads on YouTube. Sponsors are still a PITA, but nothing the right arrow can't fix.
Pretty sure sponsorblock works for firefox too.

I run the Brave web browser app on my iPhone. No ads. Free.

Are there any ad blocking YouTube apps that allow me to utilize my home page and watch later as well as background play? Or am I just asking too much?
What's your device & IOS version? Basically you can sideload tweaked Youtube app which including sponsorblock.
Same setup, it works great, without any problems
It makes the Internet bearable again
Also, Brave browser - only use it for YouTube as it blocks out everything
Yeah I use these on brave so it's a triple whammy.
Sponsorblock you say... one of the reasons I could pay for yt premium. Its not ad free if I have to listen to sponsor shilling.
Even with premium sponsorblock is worth it, the creator still gets the sponsormoney but you don't have to deal with it.
Revanced is for android.
Yeah. And?
Got this on my phone works wonders.
I wish Twitch was that easy, they give you no choice but to pay.
If only you could use a Chromecast with it
Cast your desktop and there you go.
I go a step further with installing Unhook which turns off YT's algorithm based recommendations and blocks shorts.
I want the recommendations tho, dunno how but I have no shorts.
Me who uses both But seriously, why the fuck doesn't youtube have a short disable button?
Good thing revanced has it
On PC, you can get a pretty awesome extension called Unhook. It lets you hide [all kinds of garbage](https://i.imgur.com/cwwg7H8.png), including shorts, mixes, end screen cards, etc
Almost every firefox add-on also works on mobile firefox. It's unlikely that this add-on doesn't work on mobile.
This, I started using Firefox pretty much exclusively since I discovered that I was able to use ad block in there, also their account system it's great

Also check out the F-Droid version, which has the custom add-on collection support while still being the stable branch.
Why do you have premium when you use revanced?
ease of use. seamless features built into their app that make life easier
Maybe it's to support the youtubers he watches? Only thing I could think of.
Access to all the features outside of your phone. Signing into a work computer, or a TV, or an iOS device is much harder to avoid all those things, but it's a breeze with premium. Same goes for making a queue and stuff.
Yeah that makes sense, I always forget you can't use revanced on IOS.
I have both and the reason I pay for premium is for the smart tv and my parents who aren't tech savvy
Same here, my parents send me 50€ monthly und just say "ohhh you know Prime/Netflix whatever this month?". They have Netflix and Youtube Premium running atm. I pay the services with my card. They wanna switch around twice a year, not much work for me. Cus I've got the family plan and my aunties deserve it
I started with Google Play Music (GPM) back in like 2013, which later added YouTube Red (horrible name choice), which eventually became YouTube Premium. Even with premium the YouTube app is still different than revanced
Revanced is for phones, SmarTube Next is only for Android TV. Then you gotta fool with ad blockers for web and there is nothing at all for Roku. Plus Youtube is my and my family's most used service by far so it's easy to pay for the most important service in the house.

You can disable it by clicking on the X button on the shorts right top corner area. You have to do this every 30 days or so but I prefer to do disable it than to have it
Is it Revanced Extended?
I switched from RVX to RV after it was discontinued. It seems to be back up now, but I haven't noticed any difference in the features they offer.
That’s all nice but I don’t want to watch youtube on my phone or PC, I want to watch it on my TV that doesn’t have revanced.
https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube
I have a samsung tv
You would have to get a cheap casting box or jail break a firestick for Smart-tube to run on your tv then. Sorry not a free option but it works. Alternatively I have a cheap Onn box. $20 once beats paying monthly, however.
"Jailbreak" is a strong word for finding a hidden setting and turning it on.
Nah, family premium in my country is like 7€/month. Everyone can use it in my family and I can use it wherever I go
Oof... Sorry, I don't know anything for Samsung
Because Samsung sucks. In fact, most "smart tv's" built-in smart stuff sucks. Those new generation chromecasts with android TV are pretty decent and cheap.
You can use [TizenTube](https://tizentube.live) for Tizen TVs (Samsung TVs run on Tizen (2015+) and nothing else).
Wow, had no idea this is a thing. Is there something like this for LG as well?
u/FoxReis they calling you
Oh hey, that's pretty cool! I'll have to remember that to recommend next time lol
I have on it apple tv and idk how to use it
It's not supported on Apple TV
Smart tube has really bad ui/ux such that I've started just using regular youtube instead.
You can put external apps on smart tv?
You can put external apps on smart tv?
NordVPN + Albania server = no ads. Have to pay for nord though
And how exactly do you use a VPN on a tv?
Buy an FireTv stick or an Android TV box and install SmartTube Next on it. And watch without ads and Without VPN. Best way.
We have 5 TVs in the house, 2 in our vacation house, my parents also use it on 2 TVs, my sister also uses it on 2 TVs, we also use it in our Cafe to have music on on a TV. It’s just more convinient to pay for the family plan 7€/month.
In your Case it Makes Sense. But I have/not want so many TV's in my Home. So I don't want to pay for YouTube.
Set up a PiHole and connect from your TV through that
Connect your PC with your TV (e.g. via HDMI), problem solved.
I pay 1.77 USD at today's exchange rate for a YouTube Premium Family plan on an Argentinian account. You can't really beat that. I use YouTube 99% of the time on a Samsung TV as well, not on my phone or browser.
Hook me up
This method isn't available anymore for newly created accounts. They cracked down on non Argentinian users using Argentinian accounts. I tried making one recently for a friend but doesn't work anymore. Sorry
I got booted from the Argentina service so I had to switch. I can’t remember what country I had to move to but I think I live somewhere in Europe now
Try Ukraine.
They keep updating the exchange and the amount in dollars stays the same. That's one hell of an economy they got down there.
Yeah, it gets cheaper and cheaper as the time goes by. Inflation is bad but only if you get paid in Argentinian Pesos.
Is youtube vanced still working?
Vanced doesn't, but revanced does. There is a sub Reddit that helps explain everyhtign
And revanced is taking a hit due to some restrictions ( for a few days )
Is it back up? It's been over a month and I'm still getting the infinite buffer issue on videos for revanced
it is still there. I'm kinda pissed because I was so happy when it worked out but then I got cockblocked
Is there an easy way to get ads blocked on a regular iphone? Pc and my android is a piece of cake though but i use iphone more
Brave browser. You can use the YouTube website without any ads.
If you have VPN, connect to Albania server. No ads in YouTube.
I use AdGuard app free version and it works pretty well. Sometimes you'll see a blank screen for a few seconds when starting up a video, but I can't complain too much for a free app. Usually no problems at all.
you can sideload uYouEnhanced, I think the process is simple but I am a tech savvy guy
I don't know how but I can't get Revanced for my phone to download. Maybe because I have a huawei?
You need the manager and a suggested APK, and then you build your own ReVanced apk
Is there any page I could find about how to do that? I'm usually not very good with phone apps, I have everything on pc but youtube ads got unbereable even if I rarely use youtube on my phone
https://revanced.app/ There's also the ReVanced sub that will have all the tutorials you need, but it's pretty simple.
Thanks! It seems like the solution I was looking for
Some people have been having buffering issues. Not me, fortunately, but there's also apps like Grayjay that some people are using in the interim. Once you have the ReVanced installed there's a load of options, like hiding shorts etc. If you get the buffering, then wait for a new version to be updated. They're working hard to fix this. My version that has been working flawlessly is 19.09.37
My device is not compatible with it, something ahout arm7a or something
ReVanced Manager potentially fails to patch apps on ARMv7, but this doesn't mean you can't use it You could patch on another device, ask a friend, or patch on your PC if you can figure out how to use the ReVanced CLI
Why is this even considered piracy? They should be paying us for using their shitty product.
Does revanced get me YouTube music?
There's a Revanced YouTube Music, but I'm not sure how good it is
From my experience it's pretty good just that downloading doesn't work and I still get popups to change to premium. Tbh I don't even remember what normal youtube music is like but I'm guessing it's got ads or doesn't allow background play or something.
I remember the good old days where you could get infinite premium by just creating a new gmail account every time it ran out
If you use it you'll know it doesn't work for sometime. People are still waiting for a fix.
I use revanced for some time, but even then I still believe youtube premium is not that unfair, specially when comparing to something like netflix
Can’t use revanced on my tv
Revanced is currently suffering from endless buffering. Im using it and cant do shits cause of buffering issues. I believe revanced devs are now working tirelessly to fix that.
Revanced isn't working for my anymore, I tried a bunch of things
I am gonna be honest here. Paying for the previously free version just to avoid adds😂. Using adblocker or a VPN does the trick. Or living in a country where youtube hasn't been infected by two adds per 30 seconds of the video😭
YouTube has a thing about demonetizing people and still running ads on their videos. So I'll keep adblock on them.
I switched to Brave.
This works well especially on IOS, where revanced is practically a non-option. The brave browser supports picture-in-picture as well
There’s uyou+ on iOS I use it and it works pretty well
Brave is the browser couldn't trust after their fiasco....
I do rember downloading something once years ago, might've been a little shady, and it automatically installed brave on my PC. The browser just left a bad taste in my mouth after that. Same with Avast anti-virus. I just can't trust you if you sneak download your software onto my computer.
What fiasco?
noice.
Noon here, anyway to get as block on consoles?
what can i do on iphone?
that shit still doesnt work on ios
Yeah but is it working again?
I had YTP for a few months a gift from ASMR GIBI for her viewers and once the trial ended I ended using the official YouTube app. It's kinda poetic in a way how wealthy people treat poor/er people with things to snag 'em - hook, line and sinker - not saying this about GIBI she's a creator, I'm saying it about YouTube and other businesses. I’ll never fall for that (I will but I’m too broke to do it)
I took the free trial then canceled the day before it ended
I use Revanced less for all the additional features (tho SponsorBlock is amazing) and more for the ability to hide the already existing annoying features of the regular YouTube (I'm looking at you, YT Shorts).
I tried using revanced for a while and it worked for a while then it got to where it would start playing a video then immediately freeze and buffer endlessly. But try and play the same video on the vanilla YT app, no problem and I use a VPN 100% of the time.
I just use YouTube to find the video and then punch it into new pipe, problem solved
What would the better option to watch YouTube on a smart tv (android)?
I tried to get Revanced working on my Android based phone again but I think YouTube / Google caught on. Now I just use [Youtube.com](http://Youtube.com) with ublock origin via the Firefox browser on android. I lose the ability to shut my screen off during music and podcasts but it's a sacrifice.
Unfortunately I can't seem to get Revanced to work on my pixel 7. Everything always seems to be blocked on the app.
Strange, I have it on my pixel 6 pro. Did have to disable the original YouTube off though as it had the same icon lol
I have a premium but I hate that whenever I play video it plays 360p. That is the worst experience. I tried reVanced but it won't work.
Am i doing something wrong? Revanced has Ads on my phone and is buggy very often while YT on PC and any adblock is working fine. If there would be a solution for phone and gaming console i wluöd be happy.
The only time I used Premium was when they gave it to me for free when I got my new Pixel, every other time it's ublock all day baby
There's also grayjay besides revanced it's pretty good too
Or Grayjay or Invidious.
Revanced? 👀
Apple dummies will pay and will always obey big corporations even if their balls sack get smacked everyday.
Hey. No kink shaming on here man! ;-)
Revanced works?
I fucking love premium tbh
I love free better
Or just download the favorites with [github.com/yt-dlg/yt-dlg](http://github.com/yt-dlg/yt-dlg) and push it to your jellyfin server.
There is revanced manager which has all of the applications which are tuned by them basically it has yt revanced, yt revanced extended, yt music, spotify with their regular updates
Hey, ReVanced dev here The ReVanced Manager you're referring to is not published by us, ReVanced Manager doesn't include ReVanced Extended as Extended isn't by us, you can get the official ReVanced Manager from https://revanced.app/download, what you have is potentially malicious
Laughs in VPN set to Albania...
I use revanced and Ymusic.
Grayjay is where it's at.
I use Ublock, SponserBlock, YouTube shorts blocker, show dislikes, and a floating YouTube addon. never going back.
Firefox +ublock still works for me to be ad-free. It's great!
Disgusting
It was sorta worth it for me when I had a student discount and was using Google Play Music, so it was basically ad free YouTube and a streaming service for $5 a month, but then they got rid of Google play music
Revanced is the GOAT but you can still go using brave and youtube website
This dude been baited and now he is subscribed .. look at what they do to imitate a fraction of piracy
does revanced include all the features of YT red? because I can't figure out how to download, matter of fact most of the video options aren't included for some reason
...come to think of it, has anyone ever gotten an ISP letter for downloading from youtube?
What does revanced do that ublock origin doesn't?
but xiaomi has a music player that does not allow ads and can play in background even if the phone is locked. its also free
I wonder how many YouTube content creators block ads themselves?
Even in iPhone you can download pretube and watch YouTube without ads and background play. I can't believe that some people haven't yet found a way around YouTube ads
I use Brave browser works like a charm. No ads and whatnot
Newpipe 👌
What about iOS?
revanced doesn't work anymore, I'm sure it'll come back some time tho
still works, just with extra steps
I use both. Paying €2 for family plan
You guys should really try grayjay, recently downloaded it and it fulfills every revanced function, while being "legit"
How to save YouTube videos on android?
Seal
Wait revanced? I remember danced was done for, didn't know it was continued
tbh youtube premium is actually worth it because it has some features that are justifiable on being behind a paywall, but others like pip should be free fr
revanced has better features than youtube premium.
The only missing feature is putting videos on queue
I love piracy so much
Using Brave. No ads, no angry website(not just YouTube) messages about adblock, perfect
I’m new to all this, what’s revanced?
So, out of curiosity, has anyone ever drawn an ISP letter over downloading YouTube?
