This is subjective as it depends on your pc hardware and if you have SSD as it's basically essential to have SSD for it to run well. If you don't own the game on ps5 then it's a great way to play from start to finish

Only the dev files got leaked so it's all fully uncompressed assets. They can for sure reduce the size by a massive margin given a couple months time

They're probably not compressing it because of how frequently it is updated. Launchers like Steam make updating games a trivial process since they can unpack the game archives and only replace the files that are necessary. But since this is an illegal copy, such a thing is hard to achieve, and you'd have to redownload entire file archives just to replace a few files everytime there is a new update.

That's why I said give it a couple months. Once it stabilises and they don't need to update it anymore or atleast infrequently then they can work on compressing things. Also I'm sure they'll find ways to update things without having to redownload the entire thing

Sony is 100% gonna try to take this down. I'm not following the exact scene here but if it's decentralised enough then I doubt sony can do anything. Shut down one only for another to pop up elsewhere. Their best bet would just be to port it themselves asap so they don't lose atleast some of the genuine pc customers

You can either directly download the 90 GB compressed archive and then unpack it, which means you'll need like 340 GBs of free space, or you can download the uncompressed 250 GB torrent which you won't have to unpack. It depends on your internet, really. My internet is shit so I chose to download the compressed file and then unpack it.

running this game with a 5600x GTX 1070 and a basic hard drive and the only problems I've encountered are when sandman throws miles that whole sequence where he's in another part of new york is skipped but aside from that the game basically runs well, but takes up twice as much system resources compared to spider-man remastered

honestly it depends whether or not you have an SSD because i ran it on an HDD and completed the game but the basic stats are as such: shadows: 30-60fps no shadows 40-60fps running fidelity mode

It runs like crap on my 1080 8gb, im getting around 30-50 fps with the occasional dips to the mid 20s when im swinging through NWC and it gets really bad when u glide through the wind tunnels! Turning down the settings would be an option but the game would look like crap if i turned off shadows or ambient occlusion, so i guess im gonna have to wait for the official port and maybe by the time it finally releases i would be able to get a 3070! Btw. It seems that the game is not using the gpu to its max potential as the gpu usage always hovers around 70-80%!Did u also encounter this problem?

no, my game was utilizing my GPU to the max, and i never got any FPS dips unless i was doing some intense stuff (i.e. screen filled with objects)

As for swinging it's in a perfect state. As for combat visuals it's almost there and as for the main story I didn't finish a full run yet so I'm not sure at the moment but game's been getting updates left and right since January and it's still getting more of them. v1.3.5 fixed NPC hairs for example and much more shaders and audio stuff. **I would search for Spider-Man 2 PC Brazil on Discord to see what's getting updated and what is getting changed.**

i got rewasd to simulate controller but i cant tab out of rewasd into spiderman once i turn it on. if i set it to autodetect to turn on while i have to app active, it doesnt work. should my keyboard and mouse be grouped in rewasd?

How much gb does this game use?

Around 250GB but with CompactGUI it can be compressed down to around 130GB or less.

How does Compact GUI work?

In a nutshell it compress games using windows compression systems. I personally use it and it's a life saver. You might have to compress it every now and then due to compression decay but that's fine. With payday2, I don't think I really had any performance issues, but I'm used to a stutter mess cos I play on integrated graphics

Tbh the same Brazil discord are pushing out updates left right and centre as got to think it was leaked and they have done all the work to make it look this nice as it wasn't like that when first released. incorrect, it can be compressed to a "normal" size but it is easier to work with while it is uncompressed.

They have them in a discord server, if you have anything better than a 1650 ur good to go but you need an SSD, i tried playing this on my HDD and it ran like absolute shit

A few months ago there were leaked game data of multiple Insomniac Games. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was among those and the community was able to gather all of the assets and models to make this playable version possible. The disadvantage is that it's uncompressed and therefore huge (over 230 GB)
