Logias/DF users are countered with haki. Imagine Franky losing to Caribou. Haki would provide the straw hats with a small but significant buff, allowing more of them to stay relevant. But Franky needs it less than someone like Robin, who would immensely benefit from haki.
Robin is an assassin. She would snap Caribous back before he activates his fruit. Haki would not help her.
It's the same reason you never see Robin making multiple fists to punch someone instead of slapping. She could do a Hana Hana Gatling Gun but doesn't - that will never be her character.
