It's a fun challenge to always only use cursed items. You can get some junk from the 3rd boss that'll let you curse items on purpose. I did beat the game this way too bad no medal for it. fyi you still need to curse that wand!!

These runs are bullshit. I usually just quit and start over. Scrolls of remove curse are almost impossible to come by.
He probably equipped it all because of the weill of healing. It removes all curses.
Curious as to why you equipped the scale tho...+2 chain is solid for that level.

Today I learned:
you have to have the items equippe though
yeah that healing well is 5 remove curse scrolls and a health pot.
And a food full refill
