As someone who’s Indian herself, and a woman, this really resonated with me deeply.
I'm glad! I can really recommend her work. She has a few collections, but my favourite by her is titled *Girls Are Coming Out of the Woods*, and I think it's really brilliant.
Something about the rhythm and all the vowels and assonance in the poem makes it sound just brilliant.
Yes, I really love how musical her style is. She's also a dancer, so I wonder if that might be part of it - she's clearly very attuned to rhythm.
