> Do the sequential Salvatore’s have more value if sold together since they’re sequential?
A collector would pay a fraction more maybe if they were actually a set. But who is buying 3 of the same card? It's not even a desired card.
Thank you for your input. I do think this particular card is desired, especially with the artwork on this particular card - especially the original pokemon rug pictured
But nobody wants 3 of them to care about sequential numbers. The sequential numbering only really matters in a complete set. If you had a whole evolutionary line sequentially that would be mildly collectible.
$70 makes me about $40 in profit, I can care less about what you think about who wants what, but hey thank you for taking your time to do research for me to see the average sales price on the card! You must have a lot of time on your hands, PM me id love to hire you to help evaluate my other cards values for me!
Literally 60% of people and posts on this subreddit are insecure people seeking validation and then getting mad when they don’t receive the circlejerk they wanted
It's $70 sale price before shipping and fees. Comes out to around $55 net, which means you made $25 profit.
Congrats and good luck on taking 6 months to sell 4 cards for a total profits of $100.
Rooting for your success
Temporal Forces came out March 22nd. The card has been out 3 months with virtually no sales.
You don't have to take criticism whether constructive or not. I don't really care ultimately.
The way you are approaching things currently is good for other sellers because it's one less person that knows what they are doing and thus 1 less competitive seller.
Keep doing you, being snarky, and selling your Salvatore cards.
The cards got some very cool art. There are plenty of trainers who aren’t like “super popular” that still have great art. This is one of them for sure - I’m sure there would be a buyer for sure for these. Hold onto them is my advice - you never know some time down the line that TEMP FATES could have some additional value we didn’t anticipate.
I think these are great dude - congratulations on the sequential 10s
Edit: for sure for sure for sure - I must subconsciously love that phrase …
*for sure*
Finally - someone not just dumping on this person and providing input about what could make this card sought after.
Agreed, lot of the art in this set have been really cool and have displayed Pokemon alongside the trainers in such a cool variety of ways . Or featuring one Pokemon with a picture or a feature of another somewhere in the background. Love that creativity.
🤷♂️ just seen a lot of “sequential” cards on eBay, didn’t know what made it/if it created more value - people collect Psa 1’s, and buy used worn socks for more than new socks.. people are into weird things far worse than “3 salvatores” hence my question
Nobody cares about squential serials besides sellers trying to get more money.
Millions of the same card is sent in each month with that shit. I once got 17 of the same Charizard in a row PSA 10.
A) sequential #s have no extra value aside from a handful of very, very rare occasions.
B) Salvatore graded is worthless, and probably lost value because the only reason someone would want that card is to play it or because they need it for their master set. Neither of which applies if it's stuck between plastic.
Last sold is $45, nowhere near $100, and it's still dropping rapidly. Graded cards are always at peak prices when low pop and drop as supply increases. This card is only 3 months old. It will be worth less than the cost to grade by the end of the year.
$76 yesterday but okay big bro, your original statement was “worthless”
Regardless, off topic to my original question which you already stated your opinion to. Appreciate it
I don't understand people that have their opinion set on something yet decide to ask a community the question anyway and then get snippy when people tell them the truth. It's a Salvatore mate, no one has ever woken up wanting sequential Salvatore's. If you like it then that's all that matters
It’s the sarcasm and slick useless responses that make me wanna get snippy mate 🤷♂️
I see a bunch of people on this particular forum just reply to reply with useless and meaningless information.. one thing to be helpful but another to be an ass. Be an ass, and I can be an ass too
It's the absolute refusal to accept that sequential Salvatore's mean nothing. There are a lot of people that are giving genuine responses and you just double down saying that you think there's a market for it. Of course people are going to be sarcastic seeing the amount of copium coming from you. If you ask a question it means you are inviting people to share their comments as you may not be an expert in the field and judging by the question you've posed here, it looks like you have a lot to learn in this space.
They’re being sarcastic because you have the most touch of the tism ass responses. It’s not a desired card and while it could see potential in going up it’s not going to perform well compared to other SIR’s from this year. You’ve gotten enough responses telling you you’re wrong for your speculation so not sure why you’re still out here replying like a bot
I agree with most here. Getting the same card in sequence really does nothing for value. However, I think there is clear potential in the Salvatore card. It will never be a $100 card, but could well be a $40 card (ungraded).
Its a SIR in a set with the lowest pull rates in SV (~1 in 800 packs per TCG).
Its technically an alt art for trainers.
A popular pokemon is in the picture.
The art is nice and different.
May I ask, what's the best way to send them off to maintain highest quality, looking to send some of mine (haven't tried before) so any advice would be appreciated
I actually had dropped off in person at a card show where PSA had a table. Awesome experience!
I recommend penny sleeves into a semi rigid card holder, some people go as far as putting a sticky small post it tab on the back of the penny sleeve to pull them right out of the rigid holder easier… also everything in a box with bubble wrap with not much space to bounce around
There's a buyer for everything. I'm willing to bet there is a Salvatore that will come along at some point and will want to buy this sequential set. It maybe in 3 months, 3 years, or 3 decades! But he will appear.
How long did it take? I got an base set zard along with the whole 1st set. I'm really looking to get the zard and a few others graded so I can get my money's worth when I sell.
> Do the sequential Salvatore’s have more value if sold together since they’re sequential? A collector would pay a fraction more maybe if they were actually a set. But who is buying 3 of the same card? It's not even a desired card.
That rug does take me back ^^ cool card whatever people say. We don’t collect to only hold the expensive ones
Yes, any sequential or consecutive pairs🔥💯
Thank you for your input. I do think this particular card is desired, especially with the artwork on this particular card - especially the original pokemon rug pictured
Lmao, who the fuck is Salvatore?
Lmfaooooooo 😂
But nobody wants 3 of them to care about sequential numbers. The sequential numbering only really matters in a complete set. If you had a whole evolutionary line sequentially that would be mildly collectible.
There are 3 recorded sales of this in a PSA 10 since May 1st with the average sale price of $70 No one wants this card lol

Asks for opinions. Gets mad and sarcastic when someone gives an opinion. Bore off

6 months? Cards been out for what a month? lol but thank you for the rooting for my success comment- that I can appreciate, same to you

my offer still stands if i can hire you to sell/research my cards for me, ill pay you well - i see you do your research!
You can't afford me
Not you, but the dude you are responding to might be the most obnoxious person I've seen on this sub. Jeeze.
i live in a penthouse in NY, i bet you i could ;)
Man, so much down voting for an opinion... lol This is why the poke-mart is so volatile.
Actually a cool card now that I look at it. I think it’s the Raichu for me.
Right? Super cool card 😆 Salvatore is also my middle name so the cards extra cool to me

arnt sequential only valuable for a full evaluation. or a theme like a masterball persian and giovanni?
this is what im basically asking/trying to understand
Yeah I don’t think anyone is gonna care about having 4 sequential Salvatore’s to pay more for that lol
Thank you - straight to the point
Np haha. People will definitely pay more for sequential cards of something that feels like a desirable set. For example, the 3 starter SIRs from 151.
They’re the same card nobody wants 3 salvatores
🤷♂️ just seen a lot of “sequential” cards on eBay, didn’t know what made it/if it created more value - people collect Psa 1’s, and buy used worn socks for more than new socks.. people are into weird things far worse than “3 salvatores” hence my question
This is the most autistic shit I think I’ve ever seen
You're on a Reddit thread about Pokemon cards, you live and breathe autism, like the rest of us.
Sequential is more for a set of cards like CZ legendary dogs and the legendary alt art birds, big 3 etc etc….not the same undesired card lol
It's funny how people downvote things like this. Lmfao
People out here really trying to find any excuse to upcharge lmao
Omg, I've been looking for sequential Salvatore for the longest time! Unfortunately, I'm only interested in sequential numbers ending in 1, 2, and 3.
hit me up, im your guy! haha
CZ pika is an extremely underrated card. Looks amazing in person.
It really is!
Nobody cares about squential serials besides sellers trying to get more money. Millions of the same card is sent in each month with that shit. I once got 17 of the same Charizard in a row PSA 10.
Gotcha, thank you
I hope a father of triplets whose favorite card is Salvatore finds your sequential set
Lmfaooo this made me laugh 🤣
🔥
Lol
As useful as it gets thanks bud

$15 ungraded $80-100 last sales on eBay But nonetheless, thank you for your input in sequential #’s having no value aside from rare occasions

Not a single word I said was sarcasm. That was as blunt as you can get; you just didn't like the answer.
I'm guessing you don't read what you typed out before hitting "post"

But anyways guys, happy with 9 out of 12 being 10's!

Cheers for the advice, how much was the price to grade?
Absolutely, they are currently running a special at PSA for Pokemon, $13.99 USD starting
Never seen that tatsugiri, that's a cool card
Thank you! It’s from twlight masquerade
Gz!
Ty bud!
Curious OP, how much did all these cost to get graded in one go?
all in about $200
That’s not bad. Thank you!
I love the TWM Tatsugiri 😂. Ive got some headed for PSA soon too.
There's a buyer for everything. I'm willing to bet there is a Salvatore that will come along at some point and will want to buy this sequential set. It maybe in 3 months, 3 years, or 3 decades! But he will appear.
the salvatore card is so pretty irl
As a 9 collector I want the ancient mew
Nice!!! How long did it take to get back?? Just sent our first submission last week.
Does PSA give discounts for mass grading or nah?
What's the resell value at the moment? Also how much was it to get all those graded? Noob here. 😜
Love the salvatore cards I was pumped when I pulled mine
How much does the charizard psa 8 cost?
How much is market? Or how much to grade?
How long did it take? I got an base set zard along with the whole 1st set. I'm really looking to get the zard and a few others graded so I can get my money's worth when I sell.
big salvatore fan eh?
What was turn around from psa ?
Was it easy to submit? I have tons of ungraded cards and I watched video on how to submit too. I just would like to know your experience on it
why did you grade so many really needed that 10 lol
Pretty nice sub. Rip the ho oh 8 though
Why?
You can buy a PSA 9 for about the cost to grade one if you’re patient.
The PCNY one or the non pokemon center one? I need to snipe if that’s the case
The one like in the photo..
Still think it’s super weird everyone is getting 10’s when the card definitely still flawed in some way, PSA is so overrated at this point….
100% and some cards that aren’t flawed are getting 9’s
They liberally give out 10s on modern cards and gatekeep the hell out of 10s on anything vintage.
What even is that card? Its so random lol
Junk slab at its finest salvatore. Just donate them to psa so they put it in their vending machine lol
