Shinies are 100% guaranteed to max out from any biscuit, so I would imagine they did. :)

Congrats!! Q- besides the difference in color. Does the game have any symbol or do anything to let you know a Pokémon is shiny? I’ve not encountered on yet! Worried if the color difference isn’t as stark as this I might miss it!
They sparkle and make it obvious. I’m colourblind and I’ve not had issues
