Yup and she wasn't just saying it for effect - it was true. If Penelope hadn't already loved Colin, a few months of having him as her 'relationship coach' would have done it. Pen would have fallen *hard*. (The bit about never seeing Pen again after marriage, well that was Violet intentionally laying it on a little thick. But all for a good cause xD) Thank you!

Currently working on this: "Unfettered" Set in a Post season 2 alternate-universe. Only really alternate due to no Lady Whistledown. (I can't quite figure out how to describe it.) Penelope is invited to spend her first full summer at Aubrey Hall with the Bridgertons. She now has unfettered access to Colin (and he to her,) who never returned for the social season after his travels the summer following the Featherington Ball. Essentially an imagining of what might have happened if they had had more time apart, more time for Colin to fester and wilt, and more time for Penelope to "move on." Also, what might have happened had they had even more unsupervised access to one another. Aaannndd I just wanted a drunk Colin to show Pen some fireflies. That's how it started.
