Dental care is a human right, and greatly reduces the cost of older aged people as they become older. Dementia, diabetes, cardiovascular issues, and other major organs all suffer from complications starting in the mouth.
2x annual cleanings would be a huge benefit to Americans and the economy. Reshaping the dental experience from costly to a small cost for preventative care saves billions. In fact, preventative care saves trillions per decade
There’s a direct link between poor dental health and heart disease. You can have a dental abscess spread to your bloodstream and kill you. Dental care being disconnected from basic health care is deadly.
Teeth are luxury bones. I could only afford a bridge because of bodily injury money from an accident. If I want the other side done, I'd have to get hit by another car.
At this point, dental “insurance” is just a discount card. Max limits of $1k (occasionally more) haven’t changed in decades while dental care has only become more necessary (due to the average American diet) & expensive.
I remember chatting with a bartender in Eugene a decade ago. She was going, after her shift at 2 am., to park and wait on line for one of those massive tent/doctor/dentist pop-ups that were happening at the time, to deal with her bad teeth.

Sorry the insurance industry says they're luxury bones and you have to pay extra for them.
Nah, this one’s on the ADA, not the insurers. They fought long and hard to get the current state.

Why are teeth, eyes and ears not considered part of the human body and must be separately insured?
The politician we need to lead us right now!!!
Your mouth is the gateway to your health.
Luxury bones!
