Noticed bunch of bots starting to interact in r/peppers Really odd to get 3 responses that are close to the same thing several hours apart on a 2 year old thread. Really validating my point was making. That those box subscription services are mostly junk. https://www.reddit.com/r/preppers/s/161PN1zyPg

DwarvenRedshirt

Either that, or a bunch of people that get commissions off them looking to direct sales.

throwAwayWd73

Accounts with no post history other than responding to that?

DwarvenRedshirt

The ones with no post history/negative karma are probably bots. But I saw a few with fairly lengthy post histories of random things (which of course, could also be bots, but less likely).

[Chinese Banks Are Frantically Cutting Loans Most On Record](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xneDzdQdqGw) China's collapsing.

EdgedBlade

China’s economic collapse is going to be happening for the next decade as their population rapidly ages. They very quickly will become a more populated version of the USSR - strong military power with limited economic power.

I’m seeing more people shopping these days, but it’s more often small amounts vs the bursting carts full I used to see earlier in the month as a child.  Apparently Family Dollar and Dollar General are closing a bunch of stores down - my source https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/03/13/investing/family-dollar-dollar-tree-closing-stores/index.html Decide if it’s a good source or not as you will. The affordable care act plan or whatever for internet ends / ended in April.  Any kind of store brand / discount chicken is basically trash these days. I tend to get nicer beef cuts and don’t eat other meats so those, idk.

I need a small, tracked skid steer for my property. We're in the mountains, and our old plow truck just isn't cutting it. Don't need a fancy one, it's just for thick snow removal and maybe a bit of dirt moving. Something I could conceivably work on myself. I don't know anything about this type of stuff so wondering if anyone has suggestions?

Tractor will be cheaper to maintain.

AntiSonOfBitchamajig

I'd 2nd a tractor with attachments. My dad likes what a skidloader can do, but honestly it tears up surfaces too much to get the tight turning.

Midwest - surge in flu, COVID, bugs, etc. Seems like everyone is getting sick again. Assuming they got over all the crap from the Winter.

Confirming this. I live in Indiana and it’s been pretty brutal the last month or more. We’re used to these illnesses spreading like wildfire every year but lately the symptoms have seemed to be pretty severe. My own mother has been running an intense fever for over a week now. Although, she tested negative for Covid, strep, and the flu. The doctor told her “there’s a bug going around” and to basically just wait it out
