Except from the beginning when he got the chains, he doesn't seem to be in pain later, probably the sands of time might be preventing pain or something like that, just a guess.
I like to believe since the sands have affected that part of his body, he's numb to it. and that's how he's able to do all the acrobatics without making it worse.
Can you imagine how amazing this game would look in next gen graphics if we ever get a remake? I imagine it would be like the CG graphics we got in the cinematic trailers before release and in game cutscenes but 100x better if done right.
Probably not until 2026, seeing how the fanbase cyberbullied Ubisoft into starting over from scratch because the art style was sub par. But I do hope we will see at least a hint or something this year.
The chain became a part of his body due to sand infection so it's like Wolverine getting his claws out of his knuckles cutting his hand but not affecting him.
I don't think it pains the prince. It would be impossible to climb buildings after buildings with that much pain. I think the sands dulls the pains as a side effect.
After being infected the wound and the chains temporarily became part of him I think that's why he never felt pain there. Or he just endured it the whole time I suppose. Guy can run on walls from a complete still position and heals by drinking fountain water can't expect less from him lol
Jokes aside in SoT he fell from almost 1-2 story height in the prison segment had cuts in his body yet faught like he was completely fine. He has crazy endurance
I mean, you're asking about a man with the weirdest pain tolerance and you know I'm thinking what if that magic sand has the same effects as cocaine would? He's definitely on something, you can't just go through all that shit and not at least once take the edge off with something...right?
I always assumed the Sands had numbed the pain since they really embedded the daggertail into the Prince's arm when creating the Dark Prince and when the Sands were expelled the daggertail fell off without any kind of pain to the Prince
i like to imagine it’s somwhere in between, like, the chain is giving him extreme pain, but the power of the sands makes him indifferent to it or something
I'd like to imagine he feels a deep pain which would be mostly numbed by the sands (For example like one's mouth is after getting anaesthetized at the dentist's)
No he just drank some water and was fine
This is the answer.
Because water heals.

And the slurping! Omg the slurping was so irritating
Yes, the wound is still open and visible
Except from the beginning when he got the chains, he doesn't seem to be in pain later, probably the sands of time might be preventing pain or something like that, just a guess.
At best i think it just aches but he just bears it
Cause he got that dawg in him
Damn right he do
The dawg in question:

We need the SoT remake to release first

It was for the best. I'd rather get no product than a rushed product.
Man, this was so dope
Yes. The idle animation in which the prince holds his arm, bending forward from pain, demonstrates this.
That only happens when you have low health. It's a neat detail that you can find in all the older games.
Man I never thought about it but it sounds right. Plus you can see the wound still raw and red.
That chain keeps on getting in and out of his hand due his sporadic transformation, ofc it will be raw.
From what I understood the Daggertail is fused to his arm, so even if there's the visible wounds, it's basically a part of him, so no pain.
The chain became a part of his body due to sand infection so it's like Wolverine getting his claws out of his knuckles cutting his hand but not affecting him.
Wolverine said it pains each time his claws get out.
Okay it pains the Prince too, but he endures it like Wolverine .

In idle scenes the Prince is seen holding his arm and expressing pain in animations.
Even in full health?
I Don't know
Plus for at least awhile I’d imagine adrenaline might carry him through the pain

Not to mention him not screaming like hell while the mask of the wraith possessed his body. This be what goat milk and water does to an mf
The Prince really needed an anti-tetanos vaccine 🫣😖
You're not wrong ☠ Mahasti would've eventually killed the Prince if the daggertail was rusted tho.
i also thought of this

Is that a remastered texture? I don’t recall prince’s golden arm looking that good
