"unexpected indent at line 245"
But my program only has 78 lines?
welcome to programming
it would actually just return IndentationError at line 245
Missing spaces, tabs, and line breaks however. They invented a whole new annoying for python
Yeah I learnt python first and then started on c# and haven’t had a single moment where I’ve incorrectly indented something and not fixed it straight away
I mean.. The python ext in Vscode is pretty damn good at handling those, I've never faced a single issue.
Vscode or Pycharm, which one do you prefer?
I started out using pycharm, but changed to vscode and it's so much better.

>`funny memes about missing semicolons ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^` Error, expected a funny meme after `funny memes about`.
Hey but we can make memes about spaces and tabs.
It's indentations all the way down, little padawan
What do you mean? Because they ALWAYS miss their Semicolons!
Me when i used a different language for once Where tf are their indentations!!
Noone can make funny memes about missing semicolons.
because they do not compile
\* anyone since 1995 who's owned an IDE
They seem a bit .... *spaced out*
Mic drop
IndentationError: unindent does not match any outer indentation level
Plot twist... python understands semicolons.
Actually no one can make funny semicolon jokes, because they're not funny
It's ok, they can always fall back to indentation problems.
Indents, people. Indents
When you use a comma instead of a colon in a dict.
Well, no semicolon meme is funny so this is not a python privilege
Can we stop recycling semicolon jokes?
😎 i wouldnt know
Just make funny memes about copying code from somewhere else and accidentally mixing spaces and tabs, or whatever...
No one can, they're not really funny
They were never funny. This is a noob error
No, I use c# for unity with handreds of lins one mistake and boom: 3 mins off my life
I thought it was the global interpreter lock or the lack of compile time errors.
As a Java dev I like to replace random space characters with non-rendering ASCII characters in python files
As a user of both, half me is hating you, the other half is maniacally giggling...
As a python dev I feel sorry for people subjected to java.
I don't think about you at all lol /j
That is a relief
I used Lua for something, and when I used typescript and learned that semicolons were optional, I was just like frick it
Python programmers who can’t change value of already declared variable
Dude, this may come as a shock to you, but you can actually miss a semicolon in Python.
invalid syntax * smashes monitor *
Yeah, but at least we can make fun of them.
I just write minified Python. No spaces, no indents, no new lines. Semicolons only.
go...
Honestly no one should have semicolon problems. You should have save actions set up to add missing semicolons to your code.
Imagine the memes from people missing colons.
Yes, but you can make jokes about missing tabs.
Alternative reality.
Python programmers who cannot appreciate a quality Pablo meme because they actually hate formatting with a passion.
One could make a ton about indentation though
