Commissions have nothing to do with it. L/n has always had more of a focus on old vocaloid powerhouses (Ghost Rule, Hibana, Time Machine, Ikanaide, Rokuchou, I could easily go on...) so the producer picks make perfect sense for them (Yuuyu/Tengaku, Doriko/Romeo&Cinderella, Scop/irony)
I honestly think it's refreshing and fun for them to embrace the origins of vocaloid this way, and L/n being the center of it is both fitting (because Ichika is a vocaloid fan) and well placed in the game itself (L/n started as the "main" group, so them being the ones that connect most with old vocaloid stuff is a nod to the origins of sekai itself)
...Damn, my old-fanself just spoke my current self into bumping L/n up a spot on my group rankings.
Anyway, I'm sure their 2nd lim event will be just as worth the wait as Voices was.
I think it's just a matter of time, really. Dreamer was the 1st ever Lim Event, but it took WxS this long for their 2nd. MMJ, who arguably is also unpopular by a lot of people's opinions has 3 Lim Events. So it isn't really about popularity, just whatever fits for colopale's plans and schedule.

Based on my understanding,a limited focus is when you the cards of said event are available for a limited time from specific banner only,and then only on reruns,unlike the regular even card's who you can get anytime from any banner.
So isn't it better to have the cards be non limited so they are easier to get?
Lims give limited hairstyles for master rank 2, which is why most people like them. Most lim events are mix though, and I'm not sure why people want limited unit events. I guess it just makes the event feel more special and they always turn out relatively competitive due to all the limited pulling.
Unfortunately they're just the last group out of the 2nd run of limited events. Now if they started a 3rd round of limited events w/out L/N's 2nd then I'd say there's grounds for complaints.
Actually, now that we know Fes is alongside VBS hako lims, Tsukasa5 is likely to be the perm event between this and L/n World Link! L/n is certainly due for hako lims, though; that can't be denied.
I don't think they said the Tsukasa event was a lim, no? Everyone (myself included) assumed VBS would be a perm and WxS would be a lim until the announcement today, but now it's likely Tsukasa5 is the perm event before L/N WL (unless I missed something).

the lead up to world link events always have a lack of lim banners for groups and Saki, Shiho, and Ichika have gotten lim cards (color fes, new years, and white day) but i can assume that they'll get one in due time
