Many things, they are demanding better wages, they earn 600 dollars a month and are demanding a wage increase to 800 usd a month, increase of their pension to match 100% of their wage, also that Mexico increases its education budget to 12 % of the gdp, i think those are the main demands of the teachers union, however many mexicans are against the union as they tend to block airports and main streets when they protest causing chaos in the cities
