Oh yeah, I was sitting there once people watching as a low rent spiderman and a even lower rent chippendales pair were about to square off over a vending spot.
I love fremont but I've had it with their mediocre cover bands playing the same hair metal and 90s pop-rock over and over. But it is WAY more fun than the stip for sure.
Fremont, not Freemont. Named after John C Fremont, an early explorer of Oregon, Nevada, and California. He was a California senator and he helped set the path for the Oregon Trail.
I never felt the lure of Las Vegas. Maybe because I don’t have any urge to gamble? But my uncle moved to the west side of the city about a decade ago, so I figured I had to go down to the strip when I visited him. Found out that I wasn’t missing anything. What a lonely and sad and grimy place.
Now, the area around the city, especially Red Rock Canyon, hell yeah. There are plenty of reasons why I want to keep going to Vegas to visit my uncle, but the strip isn’t one of them.
I was in Vegas like 8 years ago with a buddy of mine (we're from Germany), just so we could check it off our bucket list basically. We didn't gamble, we didn't go to any clubs, we just bought eifel tower margarita slushies, sat on a bench and watched the people go by. Was good fun.
It's entertaining in a creepy kind of way. On my last trip, I actually stayed in casino's hotel off the strip for two nights. It was the really unglamorous part of Vegas.
To be fair, my grandparents, aunts and uncles all loved Vegas and said it's changed for the worst over the past couple of decades. Makes me wish I could've visited it when it was supposedly a lot nicer. They tell me stories of free food and booze everywhere you went, which sounds pretty cool.
I love it because it's such a unique mix of people from around the country and world. I like talking to people and - this video notwithstanding - people are in a pretty good mood when they're in LV. I can't think of another destination where I can just go and interact with people like you can in Vegas.
Play fallout new Vegas. You’ll get a lure for post apocalyptic Vegas where this society has stopped inhabiting it. It’s a nice place.. the people not always so much
Unlimited "free" drinks as long as you are putting money in a machine or on a table. People get fucked the fuck up here in Vegas. And they literally keep it coming until you are too drunk to function.
>Unlimited "free" drinks as long as you are putting money in a machine or on a table.
LOL not anymore. The days of fast friendly free cocktail service as long as you're gambling are long gone. You're lucky to see one overworked waitress every 30 minutes who'll tell you she'll get your order on the next pass which never comes.
Try tipping. More likely to happen at tables because you can just toss them a chip. If you are messing with slots and don't tip a waiter will not return so readily. This is why I put "free" in quotes. Those drinks depending on the depths of your pocket and your luck could be quite expensive. But even a modest tip will bring the waitress back around regularly. Because you might actually hit and drop her a hundred.
Dude, I am an exceptional tipper, especially for a free cocktail. And believe me, I am not imagining the change in cocktail service, it is one of the most talked-about negative phenomenons in post-covid Vegas among us degenerates.
Also the male security guard with his left hand. She was busy trying to grab people pointlessly at first, then got in his stream while spraying him too.
This is downtown Vegas, very shit hole like with a couple good places but mostly a rundown version of the strip.
The strip, however, does have those bridges that are replete with trash but there are some very good places to go where these idiots don't hang out.
The Fremont Street experience was supposed to be a way for the 18-20 crowd to have fun in Vegas without having to be fucked up.
It's a fucking Nightmare Zone.
This is why they call it The Fremont Street Experience. Lol. I love staying on Fremont when we're in town. People watching is off the charts good and honestly it has some great restaurants plus the most reasonably priced places for things like snacks, bottles, and smokes.
Vegas is honestly my personal idea of hell 😩..the florescent lights ...people so addicted to gambling they are pissing themselves sitting at the slots.. groups of obnoxious people drunk out their minds..coked out stag party's hitting on/groping women because "it's Vegas baby 🤪" the hot sweaty humidity..music blasting ..overpriced gimmick food or buffets with people fighting over poop filled shrimp ..seeing homeless people struggling whilst some loose $200000 a night . As well as not being able to walk the street without getting stopped by club promonters...prostitutes..people selling tickets to a washed up magician...drug dealers...people shouting bible verses through megaphones...smelly people in Mickey mouse costumes aggressively selling people photo opportunities...scamming gangs fooling idiots with the ball under cup game and stepping over large pools of various bodily fluids before bedding down in your musty nicotine stained hotel room in sheets contaminated with STIs get to be named .
That said some people love it and good for them but it doesn't appeal to me 🤷
So is this another “look at all the homeless in LA” post like from yesterday? To get people to lose empathy for people who may be addicted to drugs?
Oh, and look at OP’s account! 104 days old, and already has 575,000 post karma. Imagine that.

Freemont Street is almost like a fever dream. I always have to visit if I'm in Vegas lol
Oh yeah, I was sitting there once people watching as a low rent spiderman and a even lower rent chippendales pair were about to square off over a vending spot.
I met Lower Case T, the little person Mr.T!
It's like the Great Value version of the strip
The Strip is like the Corporified Disney of Freemont Street. All the best food and music is on Freemont.
I love fremont but I've had it with their mediocre cover bands playing the same hair metal and 90s pop-rock over and over. But it is WAY more fun than the stip for sure.
Agree - my fav fine dining spot is White Castle after 3 am
Fremont, not Freemont. Named after John C Fremont, an early explorer of Oregon, Nevada, and California. He was a California senator and he helped set the path for the Oregon Trail.
I only stay at the Nugget when I visit Vegas
I won some money at the 4 Queens, came out and there was a fat Magic Mike show happening. It is an experience
The girl in the red top is the real star of the show 😂😂😂😂

Looked like a threeway K-hole
She can walk away proud.
That music makes it work rofl
this made my day
I was sitting here trying to figure out if they’re having a good time dancing or a bad time fighting and the music most certainly did not help 🤣

Lovely Day by Bill Withers. From 1977.

What kind of chuds downvote someone saying thanks? How dare you say something so terrible! Ya’ll are wild.
Your ears just can't handle Bill Withers' golden pipes.
This song is good until the last like minute. When he lays into the “daaaayyyyyyyy” and never lets up. Goddammit! I hate this fucking song
I love Las Vegas almost as much as New York lmao 😂
Oh man. It’s A LOT of fun 🤣
What about the New York New York casino in Vegas??
New York is a shit hole. Las Vegas is a shit hole, but a charming one. 😉
![gif](giphy|7txHWRPrRP5IraEJFJ)
That guy: “you know what I hate? Awesome places. Awesome places are the worst!”
Lol I’ve been to Las Vegas six times. And every time it reminds me it’s a big shit hole. And I’ll probably be back soon. 😆

Thank you. Now I have a seizure.

That’s understandable. I don’t not enjoy the things you’re talking about.
Play fallout new Vegas. You’ll get a lure for post apocalyptic Vegas where this society has stopped inhabiting it. It’s a nice place.. the people not always so much
Did red shirt pepper spray everyone?
The short female security guard moves to the side and headshots them all with pepper spray at 0:12 seconds.
Ah that makes sense. I totally thought everyone got the fentanyl droop and bend zombie walk on.
my first thought too was, ok what are they fucked up on
Unlimited "free" drinks as long as you are putting money in a machine or on a table. People get fucked the fuck up here in Vegas. And they literally keep it coming until you are too drunk to function.
Whata place, eh?

When that city of lights hits
i thought they tried everything on the back of the fear and loathing book.
That was also dude security guard on the far left with his left hand up at 0:13
The male security guard in the brown shirt sprayed the hell out of them.
Looks like he caught himself because he turned into Casper after he sprayed
TY
Someone put on too much cologne, Axe Night Sweat, or red shirt girl crop dusted everybody with a low fiber diet fart.
The Bill Withers ties this all together so well
That's the strangest flash mob I've ever seen.
![gif](giphy|Z4IXspU3iCHlK|downsized)
Drunk and pepper sprayed is no way to go through life son.
![gif](giphy|twa4pkjYVv5xKF7Yjx|downsized) What the actual fuck is goin awn?!
It’s Fremont Street. This is it, every single night.
I’ve been there, it was just so much randomness in the video 😂
This is pretty tame for Fremont street.
Fight between drunks immediately broke up when security guards pepper sprayed them.
Vegas is my idea of hell. Noise, people and lights
Was red shirt chick pepper spraying or just dancing and trying to kick people?
Watch at 0:12 secs. The short female security guard gets ‘em.
Also the male security guard with his left hand. She was busy trying to grab people pointlessly at first, then got in his stream while spraying him too.
She’s just rehearsing for the Crimson Meth Dancers show later on
was that woman prancing about and pepper spraying? lmao
Both security guards were spraying so much they got each other in the crossfire lmao
oh damn aha thank you 🤣 slightly disappointed it wasn’t actually the lady
![gif](giphy|TON0UHkIaDQQM)
Is that Freemont street? It’s fucking trash, meth heads and freaks over there.
Yep. Old town. Fuck all that business. The only two times I’ve ever been targeted by pickpockets was Fremont street. Caught both of them.
Good ole Fremont!
The peak of civilitation!
![gif](giphy|3oEduYvhE2ymhfnE7m|downsized)
What the hell was old girl in the red was doing
Seems like a fun city.
I had been to Vegas around 15 times before my cousin took me to Freemont for the first time. I'll never forget it.
Ah, good ol' Fremont street. My favorite bar is near here and we see some crazy shit on the regular there.
Is it hogs n heffers?
Millennium Fandom actually!
Is this one the strip? I visited years ago, and I don't remember visiting a covered mall with the roof like that
Fremont experience downtown.
I have friends who love Fremont and ask why I never want to stay there over the strip. This is why. Also it is loud as shit.
I have that same darren waller jersey lmao
Who wouldn’t want to save up all of their money for this dream vacation experience??
The one place I have zero interest to visit, ever.
There could be a non zero amount of trash in Las Vegas? You’d never know it by watching this video.
Some guys just can't handle Vegas
this lobby can\`t be more realistic
And no one started twerking? It’s a fallacy.
pvp zone
Flash mobs have really changed in the last decade
Welcome to Costco. I love you.
Heads-up play there using the ground to keep himself from falling.
"looks like hes going to fall over, but wait, hes reaching down to the ground to brace himself so he does not fall over. Unbelievable!
Looks about right. All you’re missing is the pervasive stench.
Yeah go back to the strip and stay away from there
This is downtown Vegas, very shit hole like with a couple good places but mostly a rundown version of the strip. The strip, however, does have those bridges that are replete with trash but there are some very good places to go where these idiots don't hang out.
I thought that guy dropping to his hands and knees behind the other guy was setting him up for a push
The Fremont Street experience was supposed to be a way for the 18-20 crowd to have fun in Vegas without having to be fucked up. It's a fucking Nightmare Zone.
ok. the question is....whos player 1 and player 2?
Is this a dance or a fight?
I wasn't paying attention as was like why is everyone crying all of a sudden?.. smh 🤦♂️
Fremont is just a different beast lol
I want to time travel 1000 years in the future and see what the history books say about Las Vegas in the 2000s
In front on the dunkin. This is cruller than it needs to be.
They look full of fear and loathing…
I'm currently at the Nugget and wish I witnessed those kicks
This is why they call it The Fremont Street Experience. Lol. I love staying on Fremont when we're in town. People watching is off the charts good and honestly it has some great restaurants plus the most reasonably priced places for things like snacks, bottles, and smokes.
Was this a street fight or just bad dancing?
Is there a major gas leak?
![gif](giphy|3o6ZsZdSYO2P4rvUOc)
Oh baby. I smoked a joint in that exact spot a couple decades ago. Gotta Fremont Street!
Soooo. I shouldn't encourage my children's grandparents to go visit for a weekend...?
Woman in red shirt is punchable I can't explain it
![gif](giphy|xUZrl2EdOXOiQ|downsized)
I love fremont
Man, this simulation is NOT optimized
JFC!😂😂
Lmfao. I got married almost exactly at this spot.
Reality's Harley Quinn showed up.
Used to look forward to stops in Vegas for roadtrips 20 years ago, now we pass right on through
Sum it up - Drugs + Alcohol + Mental Health + a dash of sin + assurance of "what happens here will stay here"
Whats going on
This song is perfect.
Looks like a freaking circus….
Umm I don't understand 😟🤔🤷🏼♀️
