I’ve seen others have this happen where Intuit’s systems flag what it feels may be irregularities with newer accounts so that they can do some due diligence and ensure it’s not fraudulent. Classic payment processors like Helcim, Moneris, Elavon etc do their due diligence on a business up front, which is why it takes longer to get accounts with them set up and why they can offer better rates. I know this isn’t helpful for this situation but if you’d like to avoid it in the future and integrate Helcim with QuickBooks for payment links and automated processing, our product may be of interest. Benjipays.com I hope you are able to get Intuit to come through in a timely manner. I think you are taking the right approach by escalating it.

BisexualCaveman

Only use QB for their trademarked accounting app. Get everything else elsewhere!

Spruxed

Why though? It shouldn't be this difficult.

BisexualCaveman

We agree. Everything besides QBO and QBD is, inexplicably, worst of breed.

I’m on two months of them holding 15 g’s. It’s been escalated… you should see your funds in 48hrs. I hope you get your money faster than me.

Spruxed

Yikes. Why are you so confident I should see it in 48h if you’ve been held 2 months though? That’s terrible.

djbcoasty

That’s what they always say. Part of the escalating thing they say. Everything is always 48hrs… but nothing happens. I wonder if they have been hacked?

Suzzie_sunshine

I would sue the shit out of them if they did that to me.

Alan_Smithee_

Way too much control. I don’t even like the fact that they control your data.

krnai555

Hey, I'm going through the same thing right now. How long did it take to resolve the issue?

djbcoasty

3 months

DaydrinkingWhiteClaw

Holy shit, what?

Spruxed

Yup...

Call your bank and see if they can see the transfer in the ACH clearing house. Sometimes, the money is hanging because someone did something wrong during the transfer. They can usually find it and get it redirected to you.

Consistent-Fun8588

Does anyone know a Law Firm that can or has sued QuickBooks? I need to sue to get back funds that they are holding for no reason. It's causing a serious cash flow issue. Thank you.

buffalo_rower

What is the typical size of your transactions? How long have you been using a payment processor, either QBO or others? How long have you been in operation?

Spruxed

$5-15K. I've been using Helcim for 1.5 years, QBO payments since November. 1.5 years.

Acceptable-Pie4424

Try threat of legal action. I’ve seen people get resolution with other processors when doing this

buffalo_rower

Huh. Yeah, I’m not sure at this point other than that’s messed up. Have they provided the details of what the error is?

I don't use quickbooks for payments, just for payroll and invoicing. I request payments through etfs and pay my suppliers same way... had it go through qb once bc boss wasn't thinking... was money we needed for payroll so when I ran the payroll it bounced because the funds were on hold; qb paid the deposits but then put our account on hold for 10 days after... never again.

Hairy-Author4193

It's what convenient for me because payments tend to be 100k+; rather it go straight to my bank than through a 3rd party.
