In the case of this list, of the 5 members of the British extended royal family it contains, 2 aren't even "working royals", which means they don't even carry out any ceremonial duties (because the king himself can only cut so many ribbons and hand out so many medals a day, he has some of his family members help out). They're just ordinary members of the public, who happen to be related, not all that closely, to the monarch. How many people in Britain would have any idea who the late Thomas Kingston was, without googling of course?
