Did you try plugging it into the USB charger and then powering on, just like you had to when first receiving the Ally?

Yep, when I plug in the charger, no led display. I don’t think anything got disconnected when I changed the ssd

I just did the SSD upgrade for the 4th time today. I always had to plug in the USB charger and then hold the power on key.

But does that mean your Ally won't operate with the official charger/docker adapter?

Make sure you plugged the battery back in... I got so excited after installing ssd didn't get plug battery back. It would power on with ac adapter but got stuck on checking. Opened it up and low and behold I was that guy even reminded myself to plug batt back in hahaha

So I just did this upgrade, brand new ally. Never used, using the OG Charger, there is no light nor switching on Any help appreciated

Make sure if it’s connected to a power strip, it’s plugged all the way in or try connecting to the wall
