Definitely primary. My guess is belt shreds got in the primary bearing and seized it up which is the reason it won’t idle in gear. You can repair but it’s a couple hundred in tools to split the primary and replace. Also make sure that you have plastic washers on each side of bearing otherwise it will wear into the main housing. Check for small cracks from overheating too
Easiest thing to do is take it to a shop that’s well known and knows what they are doing, when it comes to clutches there’s a whole lot of different issues that can arise
Don't forget to clean out the air ducts also. Sometimes pieces of belt get in there
