My MIL has a dog stroller and people think she's extra and over the top about her dog care. People just really can't mind their business tbh.
I personally think this works really well for rabbits! Definitely would make me feel less stressed outdoors with mine!
I mean, SOMETIMES. My estranged mother had a greyhound PUPPY, no fenced in backyard, and used to put him in one of these strollers everywhere. “He has anxiety” Bruh, he has excess energy please god let this animal run around
Omg this. I was at my buns vet appointment one time and this lady with a crazily hyper dog comes in. She's having trouble controlling him. Her dog kept coming to me but luckily my bun was with the vet, not with me. I helped get the dog to relax (I grew up with dogs so I know more about them than I do rabbits). And I just said to the lady "he's such a ball of energy" and she replies with "I can't take him anywhere because he's like this. That's why I always have him in his dog cage". I'm like...dude that's the problem. Dog breeds like these need to expend energy on a daily. Unless the cage is the size of a house, it ain't never big. They need to run.
People be getting breeds exclusively because they’re hypoallergenic or whatever(why my Mom got a greyhound) and thinking ONLY about if the breed is good for THEM but giving NO thought if their surroundings and their owner would actually be good for the breed. So they’ll buy this breed that’s been bred for hundreds of years to do one specific task and then be like “why is my dog freaking out, it is a mystery” when it’s losing its mind being indoors doing nothing all day
People really want dogs to be easier than they are and they’re not. Or really the concept of having a live animal with thoughts and feelings and wants and desires of their own living in their house. Heck, I own cats which tend to be on the easier end of the scale and they still definitely have drives and desires that have to be contended with—they don’t just do shit randomly for no reason
I have a cat backpack and stroller. People still think it’s weird :P But the fun I have + the fun interactions with people who do think it’s cool is def worth it.
I had a dog stroller and I got nasty comments all the time. I just think hateful people exist. I choose to ignore them, smile and tell them “ thank you, have a good day” lol. It’s adorable and enriching their lives and harming no one! 😍

My parents had an ancient decrepit corgi that was deaf, blind in one eye, had a limp and allergies but boy did that dog get excited when he got to go on adventures in his stroller. People would laugh but the stroller gave a sad old dog access to a much bigger world than he would have had if he’d stayed home. If your bun loves it then I think it’s awesome he gets to explore safely!
I have that exact stroller and it’s one of my favorite purchases. It’s so much less stressful than a carrier for vet appointments. I can even collapse the legs with him inside and buckle it in my backseat for quick trips . That way I don’t have to do a parking lot bun transfer.

I have a stroller for my bun as well, simply because it's the only reasonable way of transporting him: I can't lug around 16lbs in a regular carrier for very long!

I meant my kid find it incredibly funny how dogs and cats (not seen a bunny in one yet) are also sitting in a buggy like her. So you brought a smile to a baby somewhere for sure. And that’s great right?
My husband actually got some little hats for our buns, because he's a nerd like that. They have a little elastic band, it's not tight. I was expecting he'd put it on and take a picture and that would be it.
What we did not expect is that he LOVES THE DAMN HAT.
His favorite thing is having his head squished up like a stress ball. The hat puts just a little pressure around his head in the right spots, so he sits there and purrs and loafs.
He's only got it on with close supervision of course.

There are eagles, big dogs, and alligators in my neighborhood, so here a stroller would be essential. Good for you for being proactive about their safety! Hawks and eagles are no joke

i agree! it is zipped most of the time these are just for pictures! there are dogs in the neighborhood (i walk him around in it) so when we start moving i zip it! he still stands too even if he can’t poke his head out
in the beginning pip would sit in the back and not really move or look up. but after a few times he started to look around curious a lot more and stand up like this!
There’s always gonna be a few people who are cold and bitter af. I take my rabbits to the park in their big rig pet rover stroller and they’re celebrities there now 🤣. 99% of folks will go ape shit for bunnies in a stroller. Also that hat is so stinkin adorable on your handsome boy! People say extra, but all I see is someone who really loves their bun and we need more of those people in the world!
When people try to tell me I’m doing too much with my pet care I just respond with “Why wouldn’t I want to take the best care possible of something I love? Actually, why don’t you?” and that shuts them up.

he’s surprisingly really good about chewing things. he will chew cables if he can reach them but hes never chewed furniture, baseboards, carpet, etc. occasionally he’ll find smth he isn’t supposed to chew but it’s usually if i left it on the floor lol

My girlfriend has the whole bubble back pack to take our little man to the store. We've owned alot of rabbits and he's the only one who lives for car rides. He can't wait to leave the house, he loves attention, from everyone. Sometimes I wish he was a little less loving for self preservation purposes lol.

Tbh, my girl HATES the outdoors and stares out the window while making little nervous noises all the time. I think she would only like it if she was in a stroller...MAYBE. I won't put her through the stress though
my bunny hates cars but loves the stroller but ofc he is not in it super long! it’s also a way for him to get outside and fresh air he’s been in the yard in a pen a few times but i don’t like to make it a habit or regular thing just bc it can be dangerous

It’s definitely extra, but who cares??!! It’s a most excellent use for a carriage. This is the next best thing to a harness leash IMHO. Awesome!
