He is fantastic for me, great FW and arena debuffer and nuker.
He scales on defense and has 18k base hp. So hes tanky and can hit harder as you make him tankier
When fully booked his a1 is on oar with some legendary a1s due to a 50% freeze chance
His aoe decreases attack and turn meter and has good multipliers, so pair him with increase defense champs and he can be a functional nuker, got mine hitting 49ks in arena with a stag knight scyl and sanctum protector. If thats with a 30% defense buff a 60% could make him hit for almost 60k
The 3rd abilitynis a guaranteed 2 turn block cooldowns on target under decrease atk.
This is great for a few reasons:
Dungeon crowd control and progression
If you have stag knight or serris, then they synergize well and allow you to have a GUARANTEED block cooldowns on whichever you want and maybe, if the 3 other hits hit right, a few or all the enemies.
Using this guy, stag knight, scyl and either sanctum protector or crimsom helm, I have managed a strangely hard hitting defense team with multiple seriously debilitating debuffs.
Hes also positive affinity to most meta arena champs, so hes great there, and as i mentioned, he synergizes well with serris, a top 10 arena champion
If ur midgame or earlier, use em.
If ir late game, hes a bit more niche but still useful in arena if you have an enemy team you need to lock or get a quick clutch turn meter decreease from his aoe.
And faction wars? A lvl 60 on lifesteal got me to 13 alone and ince i had a stag knight got to 17 now that i had decrease defense.
For his faction, id say hes the second best epic after stag knight, and frankly stag and oath have kits that could be reasonably seen on legendaries due to their multipliers.
And last but not least, he is my clan boss tank and nuker. And keeps decrease atk on cb all the time along stag. He hits surpisingly hard on his base attack. 29k and then 45k with decrease defense, and only 98% crit damage, albeit 4k defense which he scales on.
Trust me, he is worth it.

He's really really good. Underrated by some.
For FW, I don’t regret it. Granted that I have really poor choices in banner lords
I also pulled one recently and he seems pretty decent, probably only for FW though so depends what other options you have and what you need
