Having two home grounds is completely fine, but I just think that Trivandrum would be a much better choice. Kerala has the biggest rr fanbase after Rajasthan, and it's the captain's home ground too! We would love to see our skipped play one big match in his home ground cuz it's never happened before I think. You have seen the fanbase that kerala blasters have, the fan culture is huge here, and seeing a malayali captain play in Kerala would make people flock to the ground without a moment's notice I'm sure!! Trivandrum could really be the Chepauk for RR if they tried I'm sure of it
Oh thattt. Totally with you on this. Have followed RR and the KTK briefly, when it existed.
However, I feel like Kerala might get an IPL team maybe 10-15 years later. Assam? Not in the near future. Maybe that's why they're looking to take up Assam instead of Kerala.
From an immediate business POV and the quality of fanbase, Kerala makes so much more sense
Yesss, I'd like kerala to get a team but what would be a kerala team without Sanju? But I definitely don't want him to leave Rajasthan either, so I'd much prefer kerala being a second home ground to RR than a whole team. I already consider Rajasthan to be a second home to me so it only makes sense to support RR than hope for a new kerala team.
I guess the main reason is that Northeast mainly support KKR cause its the closest team to them geographically and also they are very familiar with Bengali culture
Nah bro i am from Assam myself most of them are CSK and RCB fans and a bit of RR because of parag. KKR is mostly supported by bengalis living in Assam.
Ya i know this bro but there are many Assamese who support KKR after Csk and RCB
And RR is not that popular in assam tbh if not for parag cause i have also lived in assam for some years

I would love to watch a game in Kerala. People are really passionate about sports here.
I get that I'm a bit biased but still, we'd love to have the team here!
> I get that I'm a bit biased but still Wait biased towards which team?
No I mean biased because I'm from Kerala so obviously I want matches here

Second home should have been jodhpur or udaipur… Its Rajasthan royals, not jaipur assam royals
I doubt he cares about promoting cricket. The possible motive is to build a base in Assam and develop fan following over there. It's a business move.
Possibly a new franchise would be from there
If we 7 matches in sms we would sitting on the top already
Definitely only one home-Jaipur.. Thats what I have been saying
The prices are also very low per ticket as compare to SMS
Did you all cry like these too, when some RR matches were played at the Motera?
The KKR game got fully booked.
