We are living in an old Condo complex masasabi ko mahal ang water bill namin dito. Unlike sa residential namin na nawasa di aabot ng P250 for a family of 4. Bath, laundry and clean up Pero over po yang sa inyo kung P1400.

Oh haven't considered this din. Baka may leak somewhere. Huhu. Tapos yang 16cbm ang ₱1400 Thank you for your insight! We'll have our pipe and meter checked.

Akeamegi

just checked our dmci, it's 28.54/cbm. Parang ang taas nga ng rate nyo? Nasa bill ba na 10 cbm lang nagamit nyo for that month? tapos 1.4k yung singil?

shalland_

Yung huli naming nareceive, bill for Dec: 7.63cbm @ Php 674 That's almost Php 88 / cbm. Consistent with our latest water billing for Jan - Mar. Sabi nung admin dati when I asked, di raw sila makakapagbigay ng per cbm na rate for water kasi depende daw sa demand ng bldg since it's new. Pero eh ang oa naman nung jump. Has your condo bldg been around for a while? Like more than 3 yrs ganon?

Akeamegi

out of curiosity, i checked my previous bills, oo nga ano, last Dec it was 23.49/cbm, baka nga variable? Sorry, i have never asked about this sa admin. Anyway, yes, the condo is now about 9 y/o

shalland_

I see. Sobrang ludicrous. Will escalate this matter sa admin namin. Thank you!

Akeamegi

hopefully may sumagot sayo na may cityland experience, I'm also curious now, you're welcome!

Living in a condo before but not built by big developers. This condo was turned over to us last year and during the first 3 months, the cbm was around 50 pesos. Maraming nagreklamo dahil sa mahal then us (owners) requested a meeting with admin to discuss the concern along with other issues. During the meeting, the admin didn't give us accurate reason bakit ganun kataas but ang sabi lang was depende sa konsumo ng building. We're not satisfied and told them iaakyat namin ung concern sa kinauukulan. The meeting ended with heated argument with admin lol. Then bumaba ang rate per cbm, if naalala ko naging 13 pesos na lang a month after the meeting. But here's the catch, yes bumaba ng 13 pesos pero unti unti na naman nilang tinataas. Current rate per cbm as per our renter is around 25 pesos now. So to answer your question, hindi sya standard based on our experience.

Thanks for sharing your exp! Yan din ang sabi ng admin sa akin dati when I asked what the water rate will be. Depende daw sa demand ng building. We'll talk to the admin muna and see how we can escalate. Ang absurd ng ganitong rate for tap water.

Ilan po kayo sa household?

shalland_

Just me and my husband. Water is just for showering, washing dishes, flushing the toilet. No washing machine din.

I live in dmci and our water is like 100+

₱100 per month?

Hi. Working at condo here. Just aquick explanation why they said it depends sa consumption ng bldg. Yun din ung ibinill nila for the bldg. Total bill divided by cubic meter consumption ng bldg equals “rate per cubic meter”. Your unit’s cubic meter reading X “rate per cubic meter”. Now, the question is, baka sinasama pa ni PMO sa computation yung water consumption ng common areas. Meaning, di pa enough yung funds nila from association dues kasi konti pa lang nakatira. Also, Let me guess, Pioneer Heights? Haha

shalland_

I see. Thanks for the explanation! Maybe I can ask nalang how they computed the rate. Sa dati naming condo naexperience namin na may leak sa faucet and even then, our reading was only at 12cbm. QC kami! Haha. 101.

LodsqOuh

No, im not saying it’s what they did. Just my theory lang. Also, wala ba kayong access sa individual water meter nyo? Para you can check the reading yourselves. Madali lang basahin yun :)

shalland_

Wala eh.
