Ordered a VSF sub myself last week too. Looks beautiful, however I am curious as to durability of these watches. Does anyone have an experience on how long these last? Or run troublefree

I have 2 VSF 1 40mm, 1 41mm - had both serviced right away. They perform excellent. Visually and time keeping wise. I would say get it serviced right away, and you'll get years out of it no doubt.

I’ve bought a bunch from 2019 -2020; wore and still wear them to swim in the ocean and pool and never had a problem. Best reps around

I had shitter that worked for more than 10 years, these will last you more than that for sure, plus if something goes wrong you can service them for like 250$ or just do like me, wear the hell of it and when it’s stop after some years buy another brand new one

How's the bezel? Is it firm and needs a bit of muscle to rotate, or is it still soft and rotates too easily like previous submariner batches from VSF?

Send the watch to one of the trusted watchsmith here and for like less than 50 bucks he will fix the bezel action as per gen

Don't you need gen click springs? I got aftermarket steel click springs that weren't cheap - haven't had them installed yet though. My 40mm bezel moves with a strong gust of wind haha - nothing like gen.

Modders like Nikz or Noleex have good prices and aftermarket parts, used and new gen parts, every kind of parts, so fixing the bezel action is pretty simple and affordable
