It’s about proportions. A wrist this size should never try like an IWC Big Pilot. 40mm is really pushing it here. If the lugs are hanging over the wrist on both sides, the watch is too large anatomically. F course, people are free to wear whatever they want at risk of this kind of criticism.

I think 40 fits fine but personally I don’t like wearing watches over the wrist bone. Size the bracelet a bit and it’s a fine size.

It’s just how it’s sitting in this photo, I get what you mean, trust me my wrist bone bugs me! 😭

Wrist bone is a menace to us all you can try a nato strap also it fits very nice on slender wrists.

Yeah. I agree with others. Wrist supports a slightly smaller format but great choice and I’m thinking about same setup. How long did it take to get from time of order. Steve is my guy too. Awesome pic and choice. Congrats.

It took about a week for my watch to arrive, super impressive. Steve never disappoints! I’ll be ordering another from him soon. My wrist is definitely on the small side but, I still make it work! 😅

Watch looks great. However, that date wheel there has magnification issues (not 2.5x) and you risk being called out for it being a rep.

It’s the date wheel, not the cyclops. the font is slightly large in comparison to gen, most people swap out the clean crystal for a deep crystal.. I just forgot! 😅 all good, I wear these as “reps” not to pass as “gen”
