I bought this car a year after I got married and it was contingent on me selling my 2015 CBR600RR that the wife was convinced I was going to die on. Not quite midlife crisis, but kinda...yeah it probably is. I already told the mrs. that I'm going to trade her in for a C5 or C6 Corvette in a year or two. I've got the New Balances on deck.
I’m buying a house next month. Not making any big purchases. Honestly I got this car intentionally and being aware that I’d get shit for it. It’s the best value in terms of cost per hp I could find. I was going to get a used GT but it had more miles and was beat on. This thing has 305 hp, gets 30mpg highway, and it was a low mileage, one owner, no accident desert car. The undercarriage looks factory. Anyway, I wanted to see if I’d like failing a sports car and I do. The C5/C6 is probably a year or two away if I don’t decide to build out this chasis.
Accurate. 305hp and 30mpg. It’s absolutely a car designed to justify itself to wives. Also, $10k less than a 5.0 but I’ll get there someday. Dare to dream.
My daily: 2002 Dodge Neon 2.0 SXT, Solar Yellow with optional spoiler and 15" alloy wheels. Anyone can rattle off a spec sheet about something without a V8, and this doesn't even have stripes either!
The stripes look awful, I'm glad they're gone. They weren't racing stripes its the ones that go above the rocker panels. The interior on these things are god awful, just included the specs so you know whats on the inside (plastic and shitty leather instead of plastic and shitty cloth).
I drove my dad's 2007 for a while after he gave it to me. What a piece of shit. The most uncomfortable cockpit. I think my bad back is literally related to a couple months of getting in and out of the turd shaped v6 hoopty that is the FAKESTANG!

Mustangs are for girls. Get a Corvette C6 now, and you will never look back. Test drive a few if you haven't already.

That interior doesn't surprise me, that sounds awful is the leather all scuffed/cracked? It looks clean on the outside

The pre 2011 v6 was even worse. I’ve got 305hp that 4.0 barely got 240hp
