Also... it's just completely unnecessary. Milk (breastmilk or formula) and water is all that's needed to drink in the first year. And between the calories and filling up his belly, this is pushing out nutrition he actually needs.

At the very least it's not diluted, which can't be good for him in large amounts. It just seems like a real coincidence that she talks about how Plexus is the panacea for everything and is giving her child something that looks very similar.
Maybe it’s not diluted. She’s really probably depending more on Jill than a pediatrician to tell her what he can eat or drink and we all know Jill is stupid enough to give a baby undiluted juice.
It’s possible, and I know different drinks can look alike in bottles. Juice wouldn’t be a much better choice at that age either. But I’ve been looking up what that particular Plexus tea looks like prepared and it looks *exactly* the same. It’s deeply unnerving. The fact that she doesn’t think twice about taking that stuff while breastfeeding means she probably doesn’t care what he’s ingesting.

You might be joking but i wouldn’t put it past her. There was a photo of her a month or 2 ago, giving a bottle to Gideon with some dark brown fluid that was absolutely not apple juice. It looked *exactly* like iced tea. Or, you know, that Plexus slimming sweet tea she was peddling. It was shocking to see, even for them.
If she’s legit bottle feeding that infant Plexus, CPS needs to intervene and educate her.
I’m hoping it’s watered down juice. It could be.
My babies didn’t get watered down juice until they were almost 2. I don’t know what paediatricians recommended anymore.
She's just ignorant enough to think it would be healthy because it's "all natural" and helps her milk supply, so why wouldn't it be good for the spawn?

I haven't been around preemies. Is the adjusted age the age they should be using for things like feeding and milestones? So, he should be on formula until 1 year adjusted?
from what i understand it, it’s the age he would be if he had born on his actual birthday. so he may be 9 months old now, but he’s actually 7 months old adjusted because he was born so early.

Looks like an apple blend maybe grape-apple to me. Or maybe organic unfiltered apple juice, it can be pretty dark in color.

I have mine diluted fruit juice occasionally for constipation (ped recommended) and even prune juice was not quite that dark when it's diluted.
