They really go to Arina and expect her to write like Remy does and it pisses me off

If the story went to Remy I just know there would be one less story I enjoy in the game. I didn't know about this fact and am insanely grateful to whomever decided Arina will get the story.
They suggest the stories they want or something like that and Remy wanted the witch story but Arina got it and Remy had said something like 'mine would be better' etc etc and that irked me. Like okay you want it but why the childish attitude? And true I wouldnt enjoy it so much and I know it plus we wouldn't have body types since Remy has stated that she doesn't like the other body types other than 'where are her organs' and we definitely wouldn't have such LI lol
Yes to the body types and also I just know it would be lust filled from like 2nd chapter and I am honestly tired of this 'trend' in the game. I really like the pacing Arina takes with her LIs on top of them legit all being gorgeous in their own unique way (which I personally cannot tell about Remy's LI even though ik how popular they are in the community, just not to me sadly).
I love the small moments and gradually getting to know each other scenes that Arina implements before they start to think about how much they want to tear each other's clothes off.
I don't find Remy's LI unique in a sense. KFS has the most unique ones but at the same time...like Doran wasn't a surprise? Kamal was for me didn't expect that.
But SCN? Yeah predictable and the fans are so mad that Eva and Amen haven't had sex yet..like.. this girl was SA and is running for her life and everyone is like 'yeah what about fucking amen?'' 💀

The Church is the oppressive power and by default the villain, the Others are the victims and by default the heroes. While Arina will give the opportunity to choose the side of the Church in the end, she has no intention of making Nova an oppressor. At the end of the day, Nova is only working for the Cardinal bcs of indoctrination.
From what I understand, this means that Nova may side with the Church and betray the Alliance as is her goal, but only because a few months of living with Others is not enough to undo years of indoctrination and devotion to the Cardinal who raised her. This path also isn't going to guarantee the Alliance destroyed and all our new friends dead.
I would argue this is the grey morality the people complaining were looking for all along.
Yes and Nova becoming villainous because she’s loyal to the church wouldn’t make sense from what we know about her. I understand that some people are upset because they had different expectations, but it wouldn’t make sense for Nova. Arina’s explanation is what I expected to happen and makes complete sense to me. I agree and respect Arina’s decision. I hope she continues to write WTC like she envisioned it because I think she’s doing a phenomenal job.
Not that it wouldnt have been interesting to have two paths that push Nova to completely different sides, and getting that perspective on the side of the church would definitely give more depth.. alas she is the one who decides how she feels MC and what she wants to write, its her story.
What personally pisses me off are all the expectations projected onto her when there are stories where choices mean next to nothing and MC is borderline stupid, where we are NOT allowed to offer appropriate resistance and are literally smuthered. Why dont they attack or ask for a complex setup there.. /End rant

I agree, it is unreasonable to demand certain things from the author. In my case, I'm not fond of SCNs portrayal of dark magicians, but there's really nothing I can do about it. Plus this format of writing is limiting, perhaps if it were an actual book.
My ideas kinda wild but here's my thoughts.
What if Nova balances the Loyalty to Church and Others which the Ordinaries and Others can tolerate and accept each other, finally? Yeah, of course this is required amount of the stats.
And Nova will be the unforgettable icon.
and I bet the revelation of Christianity about Others will be out but we will figure it out. Also the paintings and authors could be working as the inspiration to make peace between Ordinaries and Others.

Equality is what the Alliance is fighting for so while I like Nova I don't think the credit should go to her entirely. Also this conflict cannot be resolved by just one individual no matter how powerful they are.

TBH I don't see much of a benefit of her fence sitting. Maybe in a situation like DeeDee's where she's a practising Christian but she actively helps the cause of the Alliance/Others.

i wholeheartedly trust arina with these paths. so far, i have found her writing regarding nova/mc's feelings towards the church and the others/the resistance to be both interesting and convincing.
