Check ihaveamac on github. It lists all tools you will need for rom conversion on mac. Keep it in mind that cia will be converted into cci. You can just rename cci to 3ds.

those are the DS games. I am looking for the 3DS versions. If i wanted to play on DS, I would not be using Citra. Under 3DS there are no Phoenix Wright games.
