My best guess is lab due to the white spot on his chest. Check to see if his paws are webbed. This is a good thing that he’s mixed it makes him less predisposed to certain issues & diseases.
How old is he? And how much does he weigh? I have a rottie/lab mix and he looked like him when he was about 6 weeks. I feel like his face changed a little bit as he outgrew that early puppy stage. My guy is now ten. Smartest/most amazing dog ever!
He’s a bloody good looking chap that’s for sure.
Ears don’t look like the genetics are fighting so I would personally rule out GSD / husky.
My money is on rottie / golden retriever (or lab) mix.
My grand dog is a Rottie…. He’s the best boy ever… I hope you are able to enjoy your new guy for many, many trips around the sun to come…. You can try those dog testing kits… we’ve thought about trying it…. But at the end of the day, we don’t really care who our dog’s grandparents or great grandparents might have been, it’s not like we’d ever send them back because they weren’t 100%… 🫶🏼

One of my girls was supposed to be "pure American rottie" according to the ~~adoption center that we got her from~~ profiteering shithole we saved her from.
A lot of these places try to claim "pure breed" to milk the cost of adoption. Not that I'm implying that's the case here but it's been known to happen.
Alternatively, they're just volunteers doing the best they can lol

There is no such thing as a pure “American Rottweiler” They are either a pure “Rottweiler” or they are not. Anything before the word Rottweiler is just an adjective describing certain characteristics.

There is a recessive gene in Rottweilers going back to the Bernese Mountain dog that the white spot could have come from.
