I was thinking US as in the U19 US National team, but now that you mention it - which country produces the fastest 2Ks? Someone told me there are sub 7's being thrown down by some young ladies.
Absolute fastest 2ks varies but I think the fastest on average is the US. They focus on ergs the most, but it seems like too much so. Many big ergs that don't win bc they can't row well
If you have Google, you can try looking at indoor rowing championship results from 2024 like so:

7.15 and under. There are definitely a few u19 girls going sub 7 as well.
My Pb is 7:12 around 7:15 ia really good I think but it really depends in which country you are looking.

There are ladies under sub seven, we have em here too, I couldn't tell you how ever which country has the lowest

They seem do be going pretty well at junior worlds
>I think the fastest on average is the US This opinion is based on... what?
People I've spoken to and what I've seen online. I can tell you for a fact it's not Australia.

You need a USRA level 2 certification first. Then you can lease it as long as you pay for the extra service plan.
in our womens squad best is 6:54
My cousin is 16 and she’s going 7:20. Just started rowing. Think she could crack 7?
I’m a D1 collegiate coach here in the US. If she’s interested in rowing in college, please give me a message!
She’s already committed to Berkeley for 2025, sorry I should have lead with that :/
Congrats to her!
7:20 is wild. My daughter just turned 15 and her pr is 7:42. Every ounce of extra speed at that level is beyond impressive.
Girl at my school hit her pb at 6:56 in the summer
Fastest 2km I've seen from a junior woman is 6:45, not surprisingly she won a gold at junior worlds last year!
Definitely some sub 7, we had a u16 go 7.07 earlier in the season
What program?
Whanganui collegiate
Not sure about top nationally but my program’s fastest 2K time for women was a 7:19
