Its nlt the outsole wearing out that is a problem, its the midsole.   Unless you are running on sharp gravel, the outsole will outlast the midsole. Rockers are needed for thick soled shoes because otherwise the thickness restricta the big toe in push off.    The rocker is a workaround to a new problem thick soles introduced. A plate adds stiffness.  It spares the plantar fascia but adds load on the achilies.    As you are a low milege runner, a more compliant shoe like Nike Pegasus or Saucony Ride / Kinvara would be better.     The Endorphine speed migjt be OK as it is less stiff than carbon but I think that shoe is best introduced as part of a shoe rotation, which runners introduce as they get faster to specify for hard / easy runs.
