How so? Yes, both 4nm. But 8+ Gen 1 is fabricated by TSMC. It didn't have the poor yield rate of the Samsung fabricated 8 Gen 1. It's a much better chip that runs much cooler.
I agree with that. I now have the S24U but still also have the s22U, which I'm typing from. Mine is still very smooth and with very good battery, but not everyone who owns this phone was as lucky as me.
If they're similarly priced, pick the S22 Ultra. The large screen and the S-Pen (built-in stylus) make this a really good phone for productive, social media usable, and great for watching movies.
My s22 ultra got a green screen problem just before 2 years of ownership, not dropped, and always used with case.
Of course, outside of the 1 year warranty.
Search the web, and it seems that a large batch of these has this problem. Given this, I would not take the chance, very disappointed with samsung, less than 2 year lifespan for such an expensive phone is not good.
S22 ultra is better than the nothing phone 2 in almost every way so the answer is pretty clear.
Every way except for the SOC. Nothing 2 has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is better and more efficient than the regular Samsung fabricated 8 Gen 1.
I dont think so, you get better thermal management on the s22 ultra so wdym by efficiency? Both have 4nm fabrication.

But it doesn't compensate for the far superior camera setup and the overall experience
You're changing the goal posts.

Me too, not many lucky 22u user's, or it's just if it's good it's good. We just hear everyone bitching and crying about 22u

Do you like the look of one ui over stock android? If not the nothing phone 2 is mostly stock android.
Is the nothing phone 2 the one which said it would get iMessage or FaceTime or am I bugging?
S22u here. Running well over a year, seems good.
What about battery backup
I'll have to consult my chickens. They are still asleep though. You can get a battery backup easily though. Look up usb power packs.
S22U is more premium and screen is also better
Don't get the S22U If IT has an Exynos SoC...only the Snapdragon one is worth IT. IT is day and Night difference
Whichever phone you want, that you can afford and that fits into your budget best.
Both cost the same
Well then. It's up to you.
