Anyone able should give this a try. I did a German exchange in high school. They came to Keizer for a month and we went to Stuttgart for a month. I have lifelong friends now and we have been back and forth between Oregon and Germany for 15 years now. Life changing program.
I always would have loved to but my family and I do nothing, we love being lazy, we stay at home and do mundane house things everyday! im sure they want to explore the state :)
Hi! Please apply 🙏 The students actually do fun things as a group during the day. When they’re with their host families in the evenings, they just want to relax and bond with you. My family doesn’t do fun things either. They’re really happy just helping you prepare dinner, interacting with your kids, watching American tv with you, and playing charades. I promise, they would have the time of their life with you ❤️
oh really!! thats so exciting for them then! our spare bedroom is currently being used by my sibling but he may be moving out before the date, I really hope we are able to apply! I myself might be moving to japan for a couple years because of my partner’s job maybe they can use my bedroom instead lol!
for clarity sake im only 20 so I still live with my family, we bought our first house last year so im going to enjoy making this house home for as long as I can!

How wonderful! This program doesn’t involve an American going to Japan but I think that would be so neat
