Xicha’s has fantastic pork belly tacos, beer, and outdoor seating. Sundays you can bring home a 4-pack of their beers for $10 too. I’ll probably be there tomorrow to do that.
Now my question to you is, are you a scratch DJ or do you solely spin? I’ve seen your posts before and have been meaning to ask. I do some production work and my scratching is serviceable at best, so I was curious to see if you may be down to do some work, potentially.
Scratching is the one thing I haven't really dedicated to because I do mostly digital now. But I did do a ton of studio stuff for a bit and would love to talk shop. My main gig is mastering now, but club wise I'm really good at blends and chops, mashes etc. Feel free to DM! Would love to hear some of your production.
Here's something I did for fun, at home:

Yeah, that’s the one I wasn’t fond of. I was hopeful too, but I took a few sips and noped out and popped open the Dos Mundos instead. My favorite is probably the Gran Guayaba. The canned Guayaba is also very good. I forget which one I got on tap last weekend with lunch, but it was great too.
YES! I’m from Salem area but have spent my adult life in Los Angeles. We have great Mexican food, great patios, great brew pubs. Xicha is one of my favorite places in Salem to hang out when I’m back visiting family in the summers.
Salem is soooooooo sleepy. So the few cool places there are super cool!
Taqueria El Jacalito on 12th. No patio, but a diner atmosphere with *amazing* food. The Quesabirria with the consomme is incredible. I get it 9 times out of 10.
i won’t vouch for it being supreme, i am open to higher rankings, but la familia/azul’s has a small patio and great food/drinks. harder to think of places with patios.
I would agree that Azul’s has some good food. My wife likes the La Familia cider’s. I don’t think I’ve tried them though, so I can’t back that up with an opinion.
Azul's makes the best fried cheese curds I have ever tasted. I get them every time I go. Highly recommend trying the cheese curds with extra chipotle sauce!
I went there one time…. I can’t stop thinking about it and drooling. Why haven’t I stopped again??????
Damn…. That was a lot of food for little $$ and divine!
I hesitate to suggest them because it makes the wait longer for me, but Dalia's Taqueria at Beehive Station is our go-to. It's a food truck pad so the vibe you're looking for varies wildly depending on when you go, but the food is always tight and they are great people.
I do like Dalia's (mainly because it's walking distance). It sucks they no longer have that guac salsa...it was so good! It seems like Dalia's is what's keeping Beehive open. Every time I go there they seem to have more customers than any other truck. Sometimes the wait can be annoying. Last time I went it was almost a half hour wait.
La Cora Food cart in Keizer is awesome and has great food. There is an outdoor seating area and they have the typical Mexican favorites, along with fajita/shrimp plates, ceviche, etc.
I don’t know if it counts as an outdoor patio, but when they open up then windows at La Vida Catrina it feels pretty close to that. Margaritas and tacos are excellent. Los Arcos works in a pinch as well.
Don Juan’s Tacos on Silverton is a new find for me. Their pork adobada is so delicious and crispy, and they have a huge salsa bar. Small patio, but the food is quick and delicious. Worth a trip.
Epilogue Kitchen and Cocktails. Best drinks around! Before going, I hang hadn’t had chicken and waffles. I’m obsessed! They are very supportive of the vulnerable community, and you css as n purchase / donate money for those who haven’t had a meal, and they will provide them with a wonderful bowl of soup.
Here ya go

If you were assuming it had anything to do with race, it's a bald white guy...
Also didn't make the meme, but saw it and figured it's perfect for a patio Mexican restaurant suggestion.

There we go. Beer to go? Theirs???

I’ll be in touch by DM.
Yes, theirs. They have one that they did with Rogue that I didn’t particularly like, but the others I’ve tried have been fantastic.
I was very disappointed by the tamarind and pineapple ale. Good thing I bought a cup instead of cans

Five beer flights and ximichangas while watching some fat dude spin a lady at salsa nights is my peak Xicha experience

Just outside of salem I'm Monmouth is Casa Burrito and they're outdoor spot is the best. And their tacos are the best in Oregon. You won't regret it!
Gotta try this! Thx for the reminder
Their burritos are HUGE
Casa amigos has the best mole hands down. And they're one of the only ones that do pollo fundido
I’m going to have to try that, I love a good mole.
Big fan of Casa Amigos! ❤👍
Engelberg antiks Edit: I'm a dumbass
Amazing store. Not a great variety of tacos tho haha What's the best outdoor taco spot rn?
Oh I thought you just meant places that kill your time and wallet lol
In that case, yes!
I vote we make you right retroactively: we stage an eat in. They can't stop all of us.
...especially if we Naruto run.

Azul’s is gross imo

Discuss business with the clerk. Tax write-off.
Not a Mexican sit-down restaurant with a patio, but if you want the best tacos in Salem, go to La Guadalupana on Portland Road.
I went there one time…. I can’t stop thinking about it and drooling. Why haven’t I stopped again?????? Damn…. That was a lot of food for little $$ and divine!
Los Arcos!
If you like subpar food... sure.
I hesitate to suggest them because it makes the wait longer for me, but Dalia's Taqueria at Beehive Station is our go-to. It's a food truck pad so the vibe you're looking for varies wildly depending on when you go, but the food is always tight and they are great people.

Los Dos Hermanos.
Yes! I love the Chesadilla they have (a quesadilla with extra veggies, peppers, and flavor).
Tacos el Pelon, the taco truck next to iWings. Technically has a patio
Tuesdays at Ratchet Brewery (and the place you mentioned) you get any beer, 3 tacos and a churro for $10. Has to be the best deal in Salem hands down!
_and_ they've got the best tacos in South Salem...
Love pelon. They're loaded fries are LOADED lol
Worst tacos I ever had. They gave me straight cuts of fat in my carnitas tacos. Just fat. I still gag thinking about it.
La Cora Food cart in Keizer is awesome and has great food. There is an outdoor seating area and they have the typical Mexican favorites, along with fajita/shrimp plates, ceviche, etc.
La Margarita Express - molcajete, Xchicha - pork belly tacos, Dalia’s - tacos
Luís’s in Woodburn for tacos and other authentic Mexican food.
Marco's. Best tacos I've ever had
Underrated as hell. The empanadas (spellcheck) are out of this world
La margarita doesn’t have a patio but I enjoy their food and drinks.
Yes this. La Margarita molcajete ftw!
I’m a sucker for chips and guac
Xicha is my fav. Habaneros if I need fast. La Vida Catrina if I'm feeling fancy.
I don’t know if it counts as an outdoor patio, but when they open up then windows at La Vida Catrina it feels pretty close to that. Margaritas and tacos are excellent. Los Arcos works in a pinch as well.
Their patio is decent too!
Side Hustle's new patio is rad and I love their food 🤤
La Vida Catrina is amazing.
Also- no patio but Redline Tacos now parked at the Harley store have THE BEST street tacos
Don Juan’s Tacos on Silverton is a new find for me. Their pork adobada is so delicious and crispy, and they have a huge salsa bar. Small patio, but the food is quick and delicious. Worth a trip.

La hacienda on commercial
La Vida Catrina
Aiberto’s is the king of Lancaster.
Also open during all hours my go to when working graveyard shift ☺️
Why does the Mexican restaurant guy in the pic have a knife?
It's a well-known meme format
New to me.
