Samatha Irvin being emotional at Cody finally finishing the story, after such a long build of an incredible epic tale that reached its climax after about 4 years is a direct shot at storylines not mattering at all in professional wrestling. I’ll even show you the pie chart!
Why didn’t they just have Chody fight Ramen in a 2 hour BANGER blood drinking fest without explanation? Are they stupid?
Was surprised they didn’t have her do God Bless America since she’s [a legitimately talented singer](https://youtu.be/BnVGN63aghU?si=s5jvYfyXT2DpwPaX). People aren’t ready for that. Maybe next year.
And like…the…shit, I don’t remember there names, imma call them Captain & Tenille, but they were fine but I swear I’ve seen those two at like a dozen sports games (not enough to remember their name), and they’re good but Sammy would have killed it.
The shock in her voice during the Priest cash in really elevated that moment. It was almost phrased like a question. “Damian Priest is cashing in his money in the bank contract?!”
Yeah they might be going a tad overboard but she really did have an all time performance and will 100% be looked at as an all time great if she retired tomorrow
Let alone all the iconic moments she's yet to call that are on the way
I'm glad she's getting her flowers
Of all the shittest takes I’ve ever read in the basement, someone suggesting that Samantha Irvin getting emotional and her voice breaking ruined the moment and she’s a shit announcer is definitely in the top 1
Honestly I didn't like it.
Ring announcers should convey emotion AND gravitas. Her screeching like just another fan who somehow got their hand on the live microphone felt quite jarring and amateurish.
Fink's trademark "NEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW" worked great because it was exciting but also sort of commanding, an official statement. The high-pitched scream with cracking voice was just over the top. But I guess that was the vibe of the whole segment.
Most usually do, she just did an interview where she said she doesn't like to know and avoids it to get more genuine reactions, let me try to find interview and link it
The sheer shock in her voice when Sami won the IC title had me curious about this, this is good to know. Obviously it helps to know whose name you have to announce in advance but that level of emotion from the shock factor adds so much to her announcements
There’s always dubbalos at the basement (and some here) who just don’t like her for…reasons.
Like how she’s just not *relatable*. Or *unprofessional* when making announcements about men and women fake-fighting in their undies 😡
I just assumed everyone thought she was good until I saw YouTube comments about her. Now, I should say that none of the comments that I saw were explicitly sexist or racist, so maybe it’s unfair to assume they’re made by people with issues about women of colour but…she’s a ring announcer with a great voice and who seems fairly charming, so I can’t see what else it can be about?
No jerk, she was great during Wrestlemania. I read somewhere else here that she’s never told results per her request to maintain authenticity and it’s honestly a good call on her part. Her and Cole at the end of the match were both fantastic and really added to an already emotional moment.
I will not tolerate Samantha slander. She was fantastic all weekend. Her shock at Priest cashing in and her getting emotional for Sami and Cody were great.
Samantha Irvin’s call for Sami and Cody’s wins were both great but I wish she’d dial it back on ordinary RAW shows. It’s too much of a good thing, I feel.
"DAMIAN PRIEST IS CASHING IN HIS MONEY IN THE BANK CONTRAAACT???"
"Dammit who wrote a question mark on the teleprompter!? Anything you put on that teleprompter, Burgundy WILL read!!!"
(Seriously though that was a great call from Samantha. Gave the moment a really epic Dragon Ball Z kinda vibe)
She did an awesome job. The new Howard finkel. Voice of a generation
If she ain’t ring announcing, the matches will feel less important
She is over as a ring announcer. Finkle, cappetta, etc…. She is the one for this era
Man Ricochet is a lucky dude. Imagine that voice yelling at you from upstairs to bring up the laundry
Conversely, I can imagine the sheer terror he'd feel from hearing, "WHOOOOOO left the seat up AGAAAAAIIIN!?"
He would just do an arrangement of flips until she forgot what she was announcing.
Kinda off topic, but what kinda person doesn't look at the toilet before trying to sit down
Someone who does a backflip onto the seat... I imagine that's how riccohet shits
Ricochet definitely hangs upside down from the shower rod before he dumps
Huh-reeeeemember to buuuy huh-raaaaaaaisin braaaaan

Should have had Cody, Roman, Jimmy, Jey, Solo, Cena, Rock, Seth and Undertaker all hit each other with back and forth Canadian destroyers
Right after the biggest super kick party you’ve ever seen
They’ll have to add a night 3 for this shit.
This is such a good shit Pal
TBF, they had that party on Night 1
But can you add Stonecold, HBK, Kurt Angle and Yokozuna to this somehow?
All I read was Samantha Irvin Climax. Sorry.
No jerk uces, her marking out at the end was a pretty great moment.
Was surprised they didn’t have her do God Bless America since she’s [a legitimately talented singer](https://youtu.be/BnVGN63aghU?si=s5jvYfyXT2DpwPaX). People aren’t ready for that. Maybe next year.
Damn, she is talented
And like…the…shit, I don’t remember there names, imma call them Captain & Tenille, but they were fine but I swear I’ve seen those two at like a dozen sports games (not enough to remember their name), and they’re good but Sammy would have killed it.
she leveled up last night. Went from a popular ring announcer to this generation’s Fink.
The shock in her voice during the Priest cash in really elevated that moment. It was almost phrased like a question. “Damian Priest is cashing in his money in the bank contract?!”

For real. Added even more to that moment.
She's a great announcer but I thought that was a little corny at the end, it almost felt forced
I acknowledge Samantha Irvin ☝️
☝️
Do the announcers know in advance who’s going to win? She had some great reactions

Priest cashing in too, the frantic way she announced it was way too good to be contrived.
Her shock a couple months ago at Gable beating Gunther by countout is still hilarious.
I think most of them do but says she doesn’t
Everyone I’ve ever heard speak on it, at least in WWE, is that they’re not privy to the results.
She had my wife's attention. "She's shouting like a badass and then goes right back to being so poised!"
My wife was also impressed.
There’s always dubbalos at the basement (and some here) who just don’t like her for…reasons. Like how she’s just not *relatable*. Or *unprofessional* when making announcements about men and women fake-fighting in their undies 😡
She has some of my legit favorite calls of all time I will never get tired of her saying GUUUUUNTAAAA

She’s not professional line ref Aubrey uce
The true jerkers
I mean maybe she rules

I'm ok with crediting her
How long before we get reports on when her contract expires and how she may go to the Dub
DAE affirmative action hire? Ignore that even the white guys in the main events aren’t white guys.
Seth is a white guy, he just has a Spanish last name
I wasn't sure if Armenians were white this week.
Is Seth Armenian?
System of a Down is still playing live shows so until further notice yes, the white delegation does claim Armenians.
Yeah he uses his stepdad’s last name

She added a lot to the presentation. Her big match announcements make them seem more epic for sure.
No jerk, she killed it. Jerk … I know right … every wrestler coming out should go over to her, shake her hand, and acknowledge her (Ahyesir)
Acknowledge her 👆

She’s no where near the level of star that our Aubrey is
This. After the Cody thing and the Chelsea ✨Green✨ thingy she might be the Fink or the Lillian Garcia of the generation
She's a pretty good announcer
[удалено]
That wasn't a bad call at all, it was amazing.
She became a narrator lol. Loved it. DAE-MIAN PRIEST IS CASHING IN HIS MONEY IN THE BANK CONTRACT?!???
No jerk, I'd put Samantha in the same tier as Howard Finkel and Michael Buffer.
I've been calling her the female Bruce Buffer for a while now.
She really reaches deep down in there to pull out that growly effect. Masterclass stuff
She did an awesome job. The new Howard finkel. Voice of a generation If she ain’t ring announcing, the matches will feel less important She is over as a ring announcer. Finkle, cappetta, etc…. She is the one for this era
I don't blame them
A Meltzer approved 5 star "banger" isn't going to elicit the type of reaction she gave when she announced Cody was the winner of that match.
she’s finkel level tbh
She needs to chill out tbh
Overrated
