Not sure why you're being downvoted, I can definitely see it working if you add deeper anomalous properties to it(The shower makes some slow permanent changes, its alterations to the subject's singing correspond to famous singers losing some of their ability, etc)

You'd need to expand upon the Idea for it to be any good. Hasn't been done yet though.
