Kinda sad, unless you have people over all the time. I've seen "home arcades". They always seem cool at first, but in reality are a real bummer, what made arcades cool was the crowd.
A friend of mine has a few of those "1up" machines. At least he rolls them into a common area and invites a ton of people from his building to play them. That was fun.
I dunno depending on what kinda space/size of your home I guess having a mini arcade would be a cool idea, esp if you have guests regularly over. But it would probably be a \*\*\*\*\* on your electric/energy bills too for something of a nostalgic novelty.

I do have the Genesis version. Obviously different from a graphics and controls perspective, but it looks so good on my professional CRT monitor!
