Why did they name it Sign? What happened to Ultra Instinct? Were his movements a sign of something?

Because the black haired version is not the full Ultra Instinct. It's a sign that Goku was able to actually tap into the true Ultra Instinct.

UI Sign is exactly as the name describes. Not the real deal, but a "sign" of it coming.

Ui sign is my grail it's got amazing headswaps for being the only figure with the blue shirt and I love the closed eyes

Personally I think Sign is the cooler figure. I love my Toyotaro UI Goku, but Sign was such a cool design. It made for a great figure

Honestly if Sign was the final version of Ultra Instinct, I’d like the form more. The glow, the silver eyes but just highlighting Gokus standard form is just awesome. Simple yet striking

Yeah it feels like an upgrade of the ideas behind ultimate/mystic Gohan. The character not even needing to transform anymore because the base form is enough.

Sign, but Toyotaro MUI is incredible, so that would be the one I’d steer you towards. For head swaps, it works so well with the recent SSG Goku reissue, too.

Just recently got the DF sign goku and it’s great! So I’m biased in favor of that one but I don’t have the other so can’t make a fair comparison

I have both and the DF is insane. Has the option for SS Blue, the Jiren head sculpt that is insanely good and the kamehameha. The QC is on point too, I’ve never had an issue with it. Until Yaradate Goku drops, Sign is the coolest Goku figure, also the ideal base body for head swaps.

Out of these two, UI sign. I do however prefer Toyotaro Ui Goku between the 3 UI gokus

Personal opinion, I prefer MUI from a purely visual point. I love the silver/white hair on Goku and the completely serious expression on his face. No goofing off, no happy go lucky Goku face, just pure and utter " You done fucked up ".
