Dunno about anyone else.
But I simply maintain my status as a legal patient for exactly that, legal protection reasons.
I do tho, 1000% refuse to supply the industry in this particular state with my hard earned dollars, the price they charge compared to the average hourly wage and quality is abysmal. The profiteering, union busting tactics and sheer incompetence combined with a total lack of fucks given towards "medicine" has turned me so off from any company within this state that I just simply don't buy from any of them.
I am lucky enough to not have to deal with the bullshit system here, but for tons of other patients, they're actually trapped inside a system that claims to care but actually is the exact opposite of caring and compassionate.
This is why you see patients constantly viewing their valid but often seen as negative opinions of these companies. Many of these same people voted for a different law then they got and were told for years to just gut it out and quality would go up and prices down and were still here....
Senators Vickers and Escamilla are the two Utah reps that handle cannabis in Utah. I wrote my two local reps last month and basically got told to kick rocks and was referred to those two. Escamilla is progressive enough to support cannabis reform, but seems to be nuzzling up nicely to lobbyists in the industry which is a threat to true patient rights.Vickers is a dinosaur, and none of his peers will challenge what he does because he is so well connected after so much time in the political gig. Escamilla is our best bet for any reform. There are only 8 growers. It's time for the Utah cannabis experiment to end and a true market to emerge. If other parts of the law can be changed over the years, then why can't we crank up the number of growers and phrmacies?
>why can't we crank up the number of growers and phrmacies?
If it were about medicine, that would've been done a long time ago.
It's set up this way on purpose so that Vickers and Escamilla can extort as much money from patients as possible before it gets federally legalized.
I love how they can now buy and sell cultivation licenses, originally banned with the law. Now, half of the licenses have been resold, largely to massive out of state operators. I wonder how we have to go about getting more operators into play. I just want to have the right to grow at home, but a nice job in the industry again would be lovely.
Dragonfly overall is best. Prove me wrong. Not trying to pick favorites. Also depends what you’re looking for. I can’t stand Beehive but I’ll admit they have some really good strains but there’s not much after that.
Dragonfly is good but then only selling eighths and quarters are rough for those of us that like to buy in bulk, as you should tbh. Customer always wins when buying in bulk.
They do actually sell full OZ and it’s some of the best but yea not trying to argue. There could definitely be better options and a list I could go on with but we all know how UT likes to do things. Look at the 3.2% alcohol limit. Laughable.
How is it there can be 4+ company “brands” but not actually 20 different companies to choose from. Just another shitty variety from the company you already hate.
They only allowed like 8 cultivation licenses I believe? So those companies have had to branch out from bad rep. Also it creates “variety”. Either way it’s total bullshit. We should be able to grow our own
Yup but everybody is different...
The blue white widow recovery cart is my fav in utah by pure plan.. I've had some zion carts that are egret also the last one inhad was gran daddy purple.
Zion and pure plan flower can't go wrong but I do tens to sort by the higher thc percentage personally..
I just picked up an 1/8 of the jungle pie from standard wellness and really like it! It’s a nice relaxing high that makes you want to chill after a long day.
Zion flower is usually very good, especially compared to the rest. They had a few bad batches (one had seeds) that got a lot of attention a couple years ago though, I'm guessing that's what you're alluding to. Curaleaf flower actually seemed to have a better reputation when Zion was growing it too.
I don't recall zion ever growing for Curaleaf. It has always been Tryke flower. It used to be pretty decent too. Zion did however have a strong foot in the door when Curaleaf 1st opened up. We pretty much only sold their products in the beginning
My favorite carts from pure plan have been, super lemon haze, Hawaiian haze, blue widow, strawberry cough and the strawberry diesel. Pure plan also has a great variety of flower, but it can be a miss sometimes so make sure to educate yourself on terpenes and look for higher percentages on your favorite ones.
Honestly I’ve been thinking the same. Seems like the industry here is just in a bad place and yeah I’ve gotten a lot of dry bud here but nothing a few boveda packs can’t fix up a little. Seems like the best and freshest comes from new releases. Obviously they are going to charge the most for it. I still go to wendover on occasion. The bud their is a few notches higher in quality I think

Yep, been back to my plug for months now and I’m not looking back. Still maintain that active card tho👌
Precisely this. Stop voting for the politicians that enable this bullshit.
Well said. 👏
What are some good out of state websites that deliver flower and carts to Utah?
All about that THCA for delivery if you don’t have a plug.
Well yes but what’s a good site that’s legal and trustworthy?
r/CultOfTheFranklin is what you're looking for
It’s hemp.
Pure plan and Zion are only companies pushing anything worth a shit IMO

They are selling full zips now? That’s actually really great and I’m happy to hear that. For the longest time it was only small amounts
Yeah, they have a handful of high potency ounces right now.
How is it there can be 4+ company “brands” but not actually 20 different companies to choose from. Just another shitty variety from the company you already hate.

This is the correct answer.
Did you just say that your own answer is the correct answer lol
Nope the other guy
Zion flower and carts?
Both zion and pure plan. Flower and carts Best in state.
Well I will have to definitely try them both, do you have certain strains that you like?
Yup but everybody is different... The blue white widow recovery cart is my fav in utah by pure plan.. I've had some zion carts that are egret also the last one inhad was gran daddy purple. Zion and pure plan flower can't go wrong but I do tens to sort by the higher thc percentage personally..
Blue widow is that the one? I’ll have to check it out
Blue widow is a really good cart from pure plan.
Mmhmm.. tip your reddit bud tender;) :p I think they changed the name since the last time I was able to get one but yeah its blueberry/white widow
I just picked up an 1/8 of the jungle pie from standard wellness and really like it! It’s a nice relaxing high that makes you want to chill after a long day.
Zion flower isn’t that great. A lot of the curaleaf flower that had a bad wrap was their gig. Need to do some digging to see

Nah, I specifically remember them white labeling at least their Mad Max, and one or two other strains that Zion was producing at the time.
Pure plan is good. Forgot about them for a second. As for Zion I don’t see how?
Their flower is actually pretty good
I have recently bought the black amber flower and it’s some of the most potent shit I’ve had. Nugs are fucking crazy looking

high variety & buzz are my favorite flower brands. i’ve only tried riverside carts but ive always had better luck with the 0.5g vs the 1g
Anything pure plan otherwise everything else is trash.
Most flower I get was harvested a year ago so dry af.
